Right. Like that clown running Crowdstrike, who failed up after a stint at McAfee. There have been two global IT catastrophes on his watch (one at each of those companies), and somehow he keeps getting put in better positions to start the next one.

She once related a story where her mom (I think) told her "What, you think you just fell from a coconut tree?" to get across the idea that no one is an island and we all build on what came before us. And between the odd phrasing and her exaggerated delivery, it ended up becoming a meme.

They did the same thing with that video of AOC dancing from her college days, so I think Republicans are just incapable of understanding expressions of joy.

It was around since before there was even a hint Biden was dropping out, and I've mostly heard it used in a complimentary, or at least lightly-ironic, manner, so I don't think it was made for that purpose.

That doesn't mean it can't serve that purpose, though.

Trump is Bibi's bestie. There is absolutely no way on Earth he would do a damn thing to end the genocide. In fact, he'll happily cheerlead it, without even the token hand-wringing we get from Biden.

Hell, I would say Biden was the better candidate from a pro-Ceasefire stance, since, at the very least, he is vulnerable to pressure from the left to push for a ceasefire. Trump is not.

I think most of the "law and order" types might have a bigger problem with her being a black woman.

She'll have to be. Anybody else would be starting from square one, and that's a luxury we don't have right now.

That's not correct. Crowdstrike does also work with Mac and Linux, but this particular incident only impacted the Windows sensor.

They actually had a similar issue with the Linux sensor a couple of months ago, which... doesn't speak well of their update process.

That would be the stupidest move in the history of stupid political moves. Drop old-as-fuck candidate who beat Trump before, replace him with old-as-fuck candidate who lost to Trump.
