There are some pretty major data security issues regarding AI though, especially around finance.

It's actually no longer mandatory, according to other articles I've read since, it would be interesting to know their reasoning for the change.

I actually thought it would be a week long course or something, to be honest.

This began long before our current government was elected though, so I'm not sure why you think they're to blame.

That does answer a question I had about this, namely how long the module takes to complete. 1.5 hours doesn't seem worth making so much noise about.

I very much doubt they will propose having less privileges than another group though, it will almost certainly be more privileges for us than them.

That would include absolutely anyone with Maori ancestry, regardless of how remote or if they identify as such.

And? They're one of our closet defense partners, obviously we're going to chip in, especially when our own security will presumably benefit from the intelligence this satellite will gather.

That's what I at least try to do, and so far I've ended up voting for either Labour or National. There's a lot of people in this thread making excuses for the greens, which is quite surprising.

Even Hipkins acknowledges they had some pretty crummy ideas leading up to the election, why do you think they've dropped no GST on fresh fruit as a policy?

And how is singling out one ethnic group for causing violence in the world not racist?

By the same logic, Green voters are also OK with Marama's blatant racism, and Labour voters are all OK with the dumb ideas they came out with in the run up to the last election.

Interesting way of thinking.
