I have, my mother used to listen to classical music all the time.

Incredibly dull and uneventful.

There's one thing that may still work in Ukraine's favour, and that's that SpaceX got started because the Russians insulted Musk and refused to work with him.

Let's hope Musk still holds that grudge.

To be fair, I look at classical music listeners the same way I do craft beer drinkers, namely that I suspect they're doing it more because they like the idea than the actual reality.

I can see why people thought 3d tvs were a great idea, until they actually experienced it for themselves. It also didn't help that so much content wasn't genuinely shot in 3d, either, but altered in post.

Did you follow the 196 controversy at all? An entire community just upped sticks and left because they got shitty with the mods.

I can see an entire instance being largely abandoned in a matter of days if they got offside with their users badly enough. Add in the loss in traffic from being defederated by everyone, and it would be a big loss for whoever bought the instance.

Given how litigious Musk is, I think that's as good as we'll get.

I'm not entirely sure targeting Redditors as new users is the best option.

Part of the problem is many of the users just don't get jokes.

You can post something that is blatant, obvious satire, and no matter how obvious or ridiculous, someone will argue about it.

Much of the userbase is fundamentally unable to understand humour.

Or they upvote anything that aligns with their political views, regardless of quality, see the posts of Pizzacake comics as an example.
