  • Nope. It's a US election, Trump appeasement thing. Meta replaced Nick Clegg (a UK liberal) with a Republican (Kaplan) for global affairs lead and this came out a few days later. A few days before they donated $1m to the inauguration ceremony. Prior to this, there was talk of Trump being pretty annoyed with Meta.

This is all shameful capitulation and political appeasement. They really teaching politicians how to do politics.

In order to avoid political confrontation, they sold all those that wanted a safe space.

  • This is not a strawman. I'm not misrepresenting your argument. I'm highlighting you're being a negative fuck and there are other places for that.

Boomers don't know what Linux is, they can barely use computers. I wouldn't know one that would understand a meme about Linux.

Seems you're going to be negative and double down.

  • Layla Moran on the left is a member of their Liberal Democrats and someone who police were called out to when they allegedly beat their partner over an IT issue.

Ed Milliband in the middle is a minister and former leader of the Labour party. Maybe not the biggest leftie but enabled members to vote for their leader which paved the way for Jeremy Corbyn to win.

Based on the above two points, this feels to be quite badly labeled if you know who they are.

  • Also, easier to share a bath without one person having their head squashed to side of tap. If you put on hot water, you're not getting the pain as it runs on to your feet. This is an innovation.

Many baths here in the UK have it in the corner against the wall.

  • Looks like contributor is busy with work. Always the risk with open source. If things aren't raised in a reasonable manner, I can imagine the temptation is to follow it up with a middle finger.

Many seemed to care about it enough to bash it, but not enough to create and maintain a fork. They just want to boss it over the maintainer.

  • I've been having the same issue on OpenSuse TW for past few months. I suspect it is SystemD changes. I changed flags similar to you, and after, sleep works, but hibernate is a guaranteed wake crash.

I'm on AMD hardware so I don't think it's specific to NVidia like they suspected.

  • In the UK, Which (a consumer group) did a study. I think 90% of products were cheaper or same price at other parts of the year.

The only thing cheaper is usually the shit that no one wants that they cannot shift, or those 5 TVs at the start of the day that make people believe there are good deals available.
