Nah man, us Europeans are fucked as well. Fascists are gaining more and more traction here. We need interaction with you. We have to solve this shit together.
Ah OK, that might be true. Because I'm fairly certain I saw multiple users at the same time on the desktop app for an excel sheet located in SharePoint
I believe they, and pretty much everyone else here, thought you were talking about the mechanical shutter that you have to manually slide over the lens.
Thanks for the kind words! The good thing is, I have some very good friends that I can talk to. That way I'm not entirely alone. Hope this is the case for you too!
I'm fairly certain that TikTok plays an instrumental role in the whole brainwashing machinery. The content renders its users incapable of dealing with content that takes longer than 20s to consume. Fact checking however, requires a lot more effort. I just had a fight with my brother. He once was a man that read a shit ton of books and had the patience to sit through epic movies and was culturally adequately informed. Now his 56 year old ass sits on the couch, swiping through one TikTok video after the other and blindly repeats all the "felt truths". When confronted with evidence showing the contrary, he simply rejects those sources as left propaganda. He doesn't even put in an ounce of effort. The man is totally lost and I'm fucking sad as hell about it. He's pretty much the only family I have, other than my wife and daughter. This is in Germany by the way. We're not too far away from the situation in the US.
Up to this day, I've never watched a pewdiepie video. I have no idea what he does/did. Same goes for Mr beast. I mean, I've heard the names, but I'm not intrigued whatsoever.
That why it's called Alsterwasser (or Radler if you really must) and not beer. I actually like the law as it prevents the market from getting flooded with all kinds of shit that calls itself beer. We can still buy Lambic and whatnot here in Germany. It's just not called beer, and rightly so.
Meh, I prefer Pilsener. Either the Czech stuff or from Northern Germany. Sometimes a nice wheat bear is good too. The only beer one can drink in Bavaria, the rest tastes like shit.
I do like a Grimbergen Blonde every now and then though.
Absolutely. The ones who've resigned mentally are fine within their positions. The people with all the business connections and references will be the ones to grab the money and simply start something new. It happened at my company. I was only 3 years in, so it wasn't enough money for me to quit. But loads of good people left the company.
Loved that phone! I had a little gamepad for it that would click onto the keyboard. I ran emulators on it, perfect for my daily commute to uni.
