Does your system have two graphics processors? One of my laptops won't work with many distros as they boot to blank screens after install. Fedora was one that does work in my case.

It's a laptop with two GPUs.

My solar powered talking microwave mailbox does the same, but the Crank Yankers version.

With NoMachine to my Windows Host, hot keys go to the host as intended.

Yeah I've had that if I use a firm pillow. On a really soft one it rarely happens. Maybe once a month or less. Maybe I adapted my position somehow as well. Lying fully on it now while writing. Only affected the left side on mine.
