  • Bibi has to keep the war going or he'll lose control over his dictatorship

  • Families exist. I'm the "IT guy" for 3 people using laptops

  • I've seen solutions with semi-integrated Raspberries to create multimedia and telephony capabilities. But everything that requires an interface to the car sensors is closed down and I'm unaware of any solutions to this.

  • Never thought I'd see Tunisia mentioned as a beacon of democracy and/or progressiveness. It's just as oppressive there, just in the opposite direction. People are getting harrassed by police for going to friday prayers. Establishments seat you in the back for wearing headscarves, if you even get to enter. Source: got family there

  • I thought the main story was pretty enjoyable tbh. I can still remember some side quests really vividly as well, which is a good sign. The batman nod for example, or the 0 g casino. There was a lot of copy and paste, agreed, but the gunplay was fun so I didn't mind that much. Also I spent hours on ship creation, thatwas cool

  • Still waiting for the first one to remove denuvo

  • I honestly don't care how difficult it is,

only if (...) there are any fucking corporate shenanigans that intentionally make it harder.

    Verbatim quote ya doofus

  • Hard disagree in my case. But that might be because it's a new IP. When I play Fallout 4 I can't stop myself of thinking what was and could have been. I obviously don't have that with Starfield and found it much more enjoyable

  • Finally took it upon myself to play Kingdom Come Deliverance 1. So glad there's a healthy mod community. It's a wonderful story with an immersive world and addicting athmosphere. But the mechanics really show the indy roots. A lot of decisions have been made to remove quality of life to increase realism, without actually adding realism. Archery is the best example of this. No aim dot makes sense in a simulation. But why can't I aim then? I now have about a dozen mods that reintroduce QOL into the game and now I'm properly hooked and having a great time.

  • So like Linux has been doing for years?

  • It's sadly pretty hit or miss if you're behind a VPN. Same for ytdlp tho.

  • You hit the nail on the head. Soulslikes aren't about difficulty, they're about patience. And when school was the only thing I had to worry about I had patience. Now that I have to fight for 30 minutes of game time I don't. Great decision by the devs!

  • That's the issue tho. Are tips earned money or just a bonus? Many countries, including my own, are saying that, as an employee, you get a wage that is taxable, and tips that aren't, because they're an optional bonus from a client, that have absolutely nothing to do with your wage. The "tips are part of your income" thing you do is a uniquely american tradition.

  • I recently switched from radicale to baikal. Both are straight forward no frills caldav / carddav managers. Baikal has a more modern UX. My switch came from choosing to use YunoHost to simplify my home server management

  • Can you explain why you would think Steam is so bad? I would argue they're pretty fair, especially with the option to buy steam cards for cash to not disclose your personal data. Does the client do some unsavory shit?

  • One game I love that hasn't been mentioned yet is Subnautica. The only survival crafting game I ever finished. The story telling and athmosphere are unmatched.

  • I thought it looked like Rubio is jerking Bibi off

  • There's nothing to laugh about. The maniacally evil thing about recall is, that it doesn't matter what you do to keep your devices clean. If you interact with someone who doesn't keep his devices clean, which is 100% of us, you're on recall
