  • The only correct answer to RFK saying that is: "No it wouldn't."

There is zero scientific evidence that supports his claim. Him saying this is about akin to someone saying that we should build only brick houses because the sky hates the color red which is why it is blue. It makes no sense and so does his argument. But that's to be expected from someone who quite literally has zero formal training in medicine.

  • You know, set aside the boycott for a second, everyone knew Tesla was way, way, way over valued.

Like don't get me wrong, dude is a slimy rat and he's getting everything he deserves. But even way back in 2018/2019 I remember everyone saying Tesla was over priced by ten/fifteen fold.

So even ignore the whole boycott and a massive correction was bound to happen. It is so stupid Musk getting on TV and turning on crocodile tears because everyone is being mean to him. Dude, your company has been over valued for, at least as long as I remember, over half a decade.

This shit was bound to crash hard. That's how it works. Fly high, fall fast. Such a fucking bitch boy he is. Take your fucking correction just like everyone else.

  • Leavitt accused him of questioning her economic knowledge

Which is none. Her degree is in communications and politics which she got while riding a softball scholarship. She was a press writer for Trump's first term, worked as a communications director for Elise Stefanik during the interim, and now she is Press Secretary. None of that is fucking economics. She has zero fucking knowledge of how fucking economics works, that's just stating fucking fact. When it comes to economics she is a fucking idiot.

It's not even a fucking question. Josh Boak has worked in DC economics reporting since 2013, he literally has more economic knowledge in his left pinky fingernail than that stupid fuckface has in her entire fucking life. That is just FACT.

    later regretted calling on AP

Because she is a thin skinned bitch. She absolutely cannot stand that people could possibly know MORE than her dumb fucking softball is about as good as it is ever going to get for her, ass could ever know. She's just a fucking idiot, that's all there is to it.

Yes you fucking idiot, yes, Boak knows more by measures larger than stellar bodies are measured, about economics than you. For a White House that gets up in arms about DEI hires, holy shit I dare someone to explain her dumbass.

  • Oh yeah, but the thing that usually offsets the intrusive thoughts is a lot of courts treat this as the crime of "hurting rich people" which comes with like 30 years in pound you in the ass penitentiary.

  • Brazil: "Oddly enough, we find your current positions on things untenable. The irony is not lost on us but such is the present reality. Thank you for your inquiry."

  • WHY ARE THEIR ROCKETS NOT EXPLODING!!?

    — Rocket X. Hitler

  • negotiator

I don't believe that Rubio has earned that distinction in the slightest, even in a derogatory manner. In fact, I am pretty sure that he has only ever once walked onto a used car lot and that resulted in only two things happening. One, learning that he ought not walk onto a used car lot. And two, the true value of a high mileage Jeep.

  • Remember when the FAA grounded him till he got this fix and then Musk told the FAA head to retire or be fired?

I think it's wild that "better times" is now when corruption wasn't so naked.

  • I think what's wild is that Canada only makes 1% of Jack Daniel's sales while Mexico makes up 7% of their sales.

If Mexico pulls Jack off their shelves, it'll hit harder.

  • Does a single district court judge who likely lacks jurisdiction have the unchecked power to compel the government of the United States to pay out (and probably lose forever) 2 billion taxpayer dollars? The answer to that question should be an emphatic 'No,' but a majority of this court apparently thinks otherwise

    — Justice Alito's dissent

The answer is "FUCKING YES". The Court is a co-equal branch to the President and Congress. The Courts have just as much right indicating that the President must uphold contractual obligations as Congress has the power to pass a budget and the President to distribute that funding to the States.

Yes, yes, FUCKING YES, the Courts have this power. The "CHECK" if there is to be one is for Congress to rescind the funding by law. THAT'S FUCKING CHECK DIPSHIT!!! It's not unchecked, if Congress passes a law indicating that the contracts are pulled, then ta-da, what the Judge said is moot. That's the FUCKING CHECK!!

Goddamn it, I hate it when these Justices say stupid shit because of their fucking bias and love of Trump's cock. Just what a fucking moronic statement by Alito. If the Government wants to cancel contracts, Congress has to grant that power. That's the check on the President. If the President fucking cancels contracts without that power, the Courts can mandate that the contracts be paid, that's the check on the President. If the President doesn't like what the Courts say, then they can go to Congress for the authority, and that's the check on the Courts.

It's all fucking balanced. What an absolute pile of shit Alito has offered up in this dissent. And what's worse is that he'd be totally complicit to remand to the lower courts had it been Biden pulling this shit. Suddenly the whole "impoundment" issue would manifest for the Courts.

What an absolute fucking naked ass corrupt pile of horse shit that dissent is. Goddamn, there is zero legitimacy left in that sack of shit that calls itself Samuel Anthony Alito Jr. "UNCHECKED POWER" my fucking ass. What complete horse shit. This fucking country is a goddamn failure.

  • But they brought some ping pong paddles to show how brave they are!

  • Should have called him a couch so he can go fuck himself.

  • I'm curious, how repairable? Like comfortable with a solder iron or slots and what not like a PC?

Repairable phones would be great but the demand for them hasn't undone the cost of design for them. There's a lot of tech in an incredibly small package, so repairable phone would still require people to have specialty equipment to repair.

Like very few people own an oven for working with BGA chips. And if we go with socket based chips, the thickness of the phone has to increase or the battery has to decrease.

Don't get me wrong, I think an open and repairable phone would be great. But having one is an engineering challenge that most phone makers have opted to just skip putting dollars into because the demand for one doesn't justify the cost. Your average buyer is just chasing shiny and doesn't see repairing their dinosaur as valuable.

But yeah, I'm sure there's plenty here that would love such a device. Sadly we are not the majority.

  • This doesn't release any copyright work in the game. So you will need to go through and remove any sprites, images, audio, etc that is copyright. Which means you will need to own a copy of the game (to have a right to the copyright usage) to use any binary produced from THIS source.

Additionally, it indicates that you must include in any derivative that the source of your code is from the EA drop here.

Outside of that, it is GPLv3. Of course it has hard dependency on DirectX 5.0. So a fully free version will need to redo those parts. Also the code is very MS VC++ heavy. Don't expect gcc to build you a binary.

  • Something happens and MAGA gets upset. Liberals just like, really? Did y'all really think he was going to catch your back?

I mean FFS, Trump let thousands of his own supporters die from a once in a lifetime (knock on wood) pandemic. Did you seriously think Horse Paste McGee was looking out for your best interest?

  • We could solve the housing shortage and homelessness if we zoned the space between that man's ears.

  • You did amazing. Keep up the good work!

  • The thing is that it's difficult to even get a complete picture because they release so little data.

One screenshot I saw had the PIID in the shot so I looked it up. Doofus indicated he saved $8.2M but that was the total amount for the outlay.

The contract began in 2022 and had already paid out 80% the total $8.2M, meaning only $1.64M was actually "saved".

So I know for a fact that the values they're reporting aren't correct because they're looking at these contracts and having no clue on how to actually read them.

As for the SSN thing where we're paying 150 year old social security. There's likely another table with "in question" that has to be joined to get an actual number.

When I worked for my state this is how we had some data. A master table that you then had to join like five or six exception tables to remove the "questionable" entries from the master.

And on systems like AS400, EXCEPTION JOIN is a thing for a reason because the OS SQL engine has special ways to optimize these kinds of joins. So it's likely this is the case here.
