  • cut waste and fraud

If at any point she actually believed Trump was going to do that, then mission accomplished. Her energy to empower Trump was wasted and she is only a fraud to herself.

I have very little in any expectation that she will learn from this. She will absolutely believe the next con man and lose again. That whole

I’m not sure that I would have [voted for Trump], and the way that it’s been done... I’m for balancing the budget, that type of thing, but not, not in this context, it’s just not right

Is just so devoid of any rational thought that I find it difficult to believe this person is real. And if what she says is indeed the fact, she's too blind, lacking a better appreciation of how government works, or some mixture of both that one could likely bank on her falling for this exact same con several more times in her life.

There's just no way anyone could have listened to Trump in the run up and bought so blindly what he was pitching. Just a simple basic understanding of the notion that humans lie is enough to have seen past Trump. Truly if this whole story is true, there's not a stopping this lady from more self flagellation. She is in a position that being a rational thinking person would not get themselves into, so there is no rational means to help her escape her level of desire to cause self harm.

  • The President doesn't have authority over Courts like that.

Congress regulate the scope of the Courts per Article III Section 1 of the Constitution. However, the Courts have the ability to rule any law unconstitutional that changes their authority too much.

Congress cannot get rid of the supreme court. It must always exist. But they can reduce the size to a single judge.

Hypothetically speaking, Congress can change the Justice system to be a single court with a single judge. Now they can reduce the size, but they can only impeach judges out of their job. So if they reduced the size to a single judge, they would have to wait until all the other justices died off or impeach the eight they want to get rid of.

The President only has the power to appoint Judges. And also Executive Orders only apply to the Executive. So EOs don't apply to Congress or the Judicial.

All that said, nothing stops the President from arresting Judges and throwing them in jail until the President gets his way. No President does that because that would likely lead to a very bad place for the US.

Of course that only applies to Presidents who give two shits about the country. So to answer your question, normally no. With Trump? I mean it wouldn't surprise me if he started disappearing judges he didn't like.

  • Congress has the power to nullify any and all tariffs with a two-thirds vote in each chamber.

Congress can then start rescinding those emergency powers acts that let Trump do this if he declares an emergency. Likely that'll need two-thirds vote as well.

Congress used to have Legislative Veto until it was ruled unconstitutional back in the 80s. Those emergency powers should have been reformed then.

  • Idiot. You literally voted to give the President the ability to call sequestration. It's right there in section 1113 of the fucking continuing resolution YOU voted for.

Schumer literally voted for this to happen and is now shocked that it is indeed happening. Goddamn, dude. Everyone told you to not give into the orange shit, you gave in anyway.

Literally this is peak FAFO. What a fucking idiot. THIS is why Democrats are losing.

  • Now my heart is doubtful. The world changes, and all that once was strong now proves unsure. How shall any tower withstand such numbers and such reckless hate?

  • Infrastructure week deux, the Tariff bugaloo.

Ah yes, the classic Shaggy defense. What's that shit conservatives say? We're still in the first year.

  • He has pent up emotional trauma that he has refused to work through with a therapist like a normal human being.

Thus he sees inflicting human suffering as a viable alternative to working through those issues. Because that was he can feel better knowing others are worse off.

That's the dog. Should it be in the race? Nah. But some cucklefucks just refuse to act like normal human beings. Maybe a therapist isn't alpha male enough or some shit? But for one reason or another they just refuse to address their mental trauma like normal people.

  • Their creditors are going to be looking for recompense. So I feel like this is one of those times when we use the answer of "yes".

  • We've given an order for a lot. We can't tell you the price,

Goddamn, that's all we needed to do. Biden orders a shit ton of solar panels and batteries and then just say "nah, I'm not going to tell you the price."

Any Democrat not on this "I'm not saying" budget plan just needs to GTFO of Congress yesterday. Who needs power of the purse when you can just say "make me" when Congress asks you to follow the law?

  • I'll say it again. These Mennonites are never going to change their stance on vaccines. Most are stuck with beliefs dating back to the early 1700s. Hell the couple in question with the six year old who died speak a broken English + Early 18th Century Low Germanic language.

These people are beyond back woods. Asking them to change is about as likely as having the sun set in the East. Their daughter dying from a preventable disease isn't some lack of prevention, to them it was the will of God.

You might as well walk up to a seven year old and ask them to perform triple bypass surgery. These people are unable to understand a vaccine. They lack the quantifiable knowledge to even begin to comprehend a vaccine.

People might ask how many of their children must die before they vaccinate. The answer is 100% of them. Likely fully explaining vaccines and microbiology to them would likely be seen as human arrogation in God's will. They would rather be wiped from the face of the Earth than to believe they have some sort of say over God's will.

That is the kind of people we are talking about here. They will unquestionably follow the "laws" of their religion even if it means the painful death of everyone they love. You CAN NOT CHANGE these people. It is impossible.

  • It's because these people are poorly educated. This group of Mennonites is very back woods thinking. There are zero ways they will ever trust vaccines.

You ask what percentage of kids it will take? 0% All of their children could die and they would chalk it up to God's will and get busy on making more.

Most people cannot comprehend just how backwards some of these groups are but think of life early 1700s. That's what you are dealing with. No one can convince these people anymore than someone can make the sun set in the East.

There is nothing that can be done about these people. Hell some don't even speak English, they still speak the old low German language. Like this couple they speak a broken mix between 1700s German and English that's developed in that area.

I cannot stress this enough, these people are never going to vaccinate. The cost of life is completely irrelevant in this aspect.

  • A core principal of a martyr is being widely liked. No one gives a shit about this dude. Even the people who he surrounds himself with don't give a flying fuck about the dude. Musk himself makes every interaction with him transactional. Add in his default behavior of being an 11 year old edgelord wrapped in a 50 something whale body with hair plugs that's awkward as fuck to be around, and yeah it's not hard to see why nobody likes this fucking billionaire with attachment issues.

Dude needs to ditch the ketamine and perhaps get actual therapy. And actually having a better diet and exercise regimen wouldn't hurt either.

  • The most recent continuing resolution authorized the President to begin sequestration and placed the national budget on emergency deficit reduction. That was in section 1113 of the law.

Under sequestration, the President is given emergency powers to "fix" the budget and the funding automatically matches what the President says. No need for any additional votes.

So Congress already gave him the green light to do whatever he wants and Congress has already pre-approved it. Now the Department will still be there in name. Senate confirmed officials will most move into advisement roles, but yeah after that last CR, Congress gave Trump the thumbs up to go hog wild.

Now sequestration is a process so I'm sure there will be flights over the process, like on what date an agency is sequestered, the published scope, etc. But Trump has the ability to sequester the full amount for the Department of Education and Congress says the budget automatically will adjust to meet whatever he determines.

  • Wow. He's a bigger fucking idiot than I originally thought he was. Damn. New York giving Florida a run on the money for biggest fucking idiot in the Senate.

  • The only thing they like about Trump is the afflicted pain. Even if they have to endure the pain, the fact that someone else is also suffering is exactly what they like.

Family values, religious values, morals... None of that honestly matters to them. They simply want people to suffer.

  • This is the plan. If anyone was wondering how welfare states would keep running when the federal dollars run out. This is how.

Combine that with making homelessness a crime punishable by five years hard labor and you've got what the end goal of the GOP is.
