  • I'm pretty sure it's the same as eastern europe, where literally no one bought Windows ever and just pirated, so sanctions do nothing

I'm from Ukraine and I don't think I've ever heard of anyone buying Windows like.. ever, I guess if it's preinstalled on laptops, but many of them were sold without OS for that reason

Microsoft doesn't care because that's exactly how they made a monopoly in eastern europe's office space before linux became popular enough

  • I used them a couple of times, I like them; I use them when the post I REALLY like doesn't have much upvotes. Like when I see post with 24 upvotes that deserves 400+ I give it gold, so the user will still feel happy.

Disclaimer though, I received all my points from winning a big sub contest, I didn't ever pay for them.

  • Harbor Freight is a lifesaver brand, by that I mean if you have very little cash but you REALLY need something to finish the job, they'll do that one job and you'd still have a tool you can use ocasionally

  • I don't feel that their system is even designed to share millions of video streams every minute like YouTube

I know that if I have internet connection so shitty that images don't load on websites for minutes, there are still two websites that somehow manage to squeze videos in that bandwith, and those are YouTube and PornHub, I don't think Twitter has the same network infrastructure capabilities

  • I hate places with quotas that are so high/weird. My buddy that works at a gas station says that he has to sell people 5 wiper fluids a day, or he won't get the "premium" (read: they will cut the regular pay). Their brand wiper fluid costs 3x the regular fluid that is sold in the store right across the road...

  • Same except with the website HTTPS cert. One client asked me to help them "steal" a website they made from a website maker tool and I did, and added a cert myself. Now every few months I get succesful cert update notifications lol, and they don't have access to any hosting panels. Hope it will never say it wasn't successful...
