  • They do. They even go to a specific shop in one of the episodes: The Bone Room.

The Bone Room was famous - within its niche - around the world. Featured on Mythbusters, as well as having several appearances on local news magazines, written up in articles in local and nationwide publications, and listed in guidebooks, The Bone Room was a destination for travelers and one of the must-see places for locals to bring their visiting friends and relatives.

  • Greenland Shark

Greenland sharks have the longest lifespan of any known vertebrate, estimated to be between 250 and 500 years. They are among the largest extant shark species, reaching a maximum confirmed length of 6.4 m (21 ft) long and weighing over 1,000 kg (2,200 lb). They reach sexual maturity at about 150 years of age, and their pups are born alive after an estimated gestation period of 8 to 18 years.

Absolutely everything about them is interesting. And as far as an entity, they are a fantastic role model. The world would be a much better place if we were all more like the Greenland Shark.

  • I rewatched Mythbusters recently. It's pretty disturbing, especially in the early seasons, how often they use actual human remains for what is essentially light entertainment. Like, they'll destroy an actual human skull for shits and giggles. They had disproved the myth on setting off an airbag with a slim jim and firing it into the head of a would be car jacker, but still had to replicate the results, so just shot a slim jim into an actual human skull, cheering and laughing as it's decimated. That was an actual person's skull. How they sourced it, and where the source acquired it, who knows. I'm fairly certain there is a family somewhere though that would be mortified.

  • What they're teaching is self sufficiency. When that self sufficiency is realized we will have a real revolution with mortal consequences. There are more of us than them. We are smarter than them. And we are angrier than they think. If the DNC wont play ball with the true will of the people, it will be a bigger problem for them than us.

  • Happiness breeds self esteem, self esteem breeds confidence, confidence breeds learning. Education, confidence, self esteem, and happiness are all antithetical to fear and obedience. We're much easier to rule if we're stressed out. Plus, the real reason for return to office is real estate value. It has nothing to do with worker morale or productivity.

  • Worried about chemtrails, don't believe in global warming. Worried about fluoride, aren't concerned about lead in the drinking water. Worried about vaccines causing autism, aren't worried about factories releasing PFAS into the environment. Worried about what they teach at Harvard, majority of voter base has no college degree. Worried about Bruce Springsteen, see nothing wrong with Kid Rock. Worried about immigrants, love Columbus Day.

  • I reckon the Epstein stuff is the political equivalent to nukes. If you have a nuke (dirt) it commands authority, but if you're not the only one, at the end of the day, game theory predicts the outcome to be mutually assured destruction at best.

  • Assuming a "jug" is 1 liter, and we'll assume we're drinking the 473 ml standard monsters.

Just between the monsters and pedialytes alone we're looking at:

320mg of caffeine (about 3.5 cups of coffee)

~250g sugar (500% daily recommended, roughly equivalent to 63 sugar cubes)

3660g sodium (160% daily recommended, roughly equivalent to the sodium in 26 strips of bacon)

Add all the booze that made you drunk in the first place and I'd say you're well on your way to punishing some serious porcelain.

  • Well. I would argue that drug use is all about hammering reality into a tolerable/enjoyable shape. Fascists by definition also transform through force. The key distinction seems to be a drug user themselves become transformed through chemical force, where as the fascist forces others to change using violence/threat of violence. In both cases though, there exists a certain egomaniacal reluctance to meet the terms of reality, and instead attempt to change the terms through force. There is a very consistent common bond between the hyper wealthy, the tyrannical, and the drug dependant, to be very stubborn and narcissistic. In all three, the ego is driving the bus, and there is some corruption with self esteem. In all three there is a fundamental inability to accurately assign value. A lot of money/power/release is never enough. The only acceptable amount is "more". And the compulsion to find more: wealth, or power, or opportunity to use substances, becomes the whole point of waking life. Until it's just you and the compulsion in the world alone, and every thing and every one else is just a puzzle you solve to get more like a rat in an experiment. Long story short, people at odds with reality tend to use similar and often overlapping tactics to get by. What do the tyrant, the drug addict, and the billionaire all have in common? A singular focus to fill an unfillable hole.
