Yeah, because I pay the same attention to a good story as I do to a whiny community online. Sad to see that an worthwhile discussion of the MCU died with reddit.

All of the complaints I've seen boil down to: " but i wanted it to be this". And yes, that's all on unrealistic expectations.

There was a common opinion for a while among marvel fans that fan theories were mostly trash, and it sounds like it still holds true. You guys all had expectations from this show that were not based on what the show promised to be. You wanted it to be exactly like it would be in your head, but you aren't writing or making it, so it won't be and then you get annoyed about it. Get over it.

You know what really disappoints me? Watching people that don't enjoy something dominate the conversation around it.

All of this whining, "it's not enough", "I was expecting more". Those are you problems. I've been really enjoying it. We got to see the birth of super skrulls, we learned how fury rose to the top, key figures have been replaced, we got easter eggs and cameos reflecting that other parts of the world have their own nick furys, we've seen great performances by the actors and its been an enjoyable show.

If you don't enjoy it, don't dwell on it so much. I promise you your disappointment is based more on your unrealistic expectations and not the product you received.

Are they really that complicated though? He did most of it on television where we could all watch it, and has bragged about it repeatedly, again in public. If someone gets a DUI, while livestreaming their drive and posts all over social media about how they were "fine to drive that night," and "only had a few drinks", that wouldn't be complicated. It would be an admission of guilt that sealed their fate.

That's really not it. Her orgin movie is handled really well, if you understand the context the Binary storyline was written with. Jude law stands in for the Brood, the Supreme intelligence stands in for Mar-vel.

She didn't "earn" her powers in the comics. They were thrust on her against her will, while she was under mind control and her friends had abandoned her. Her powers come from a traumatic episode she was put through without her consent, which is very well represented in the movie.

I'd recommend listening to this podcast. It gives you some context around the original comics and will fill in the parts that you're clearly misunderstanding.

The only compliant I've had about it was its timing, I really wish they had swapped black widow and captain marvels release dates.

I will say after I started listening to Rachel and miles explain the xmen, they covered the story with her and the brood, and then becoming Binary. Understanding the context around that comic story made the movie so much better.

It seems like they brought it back to drive up traffic. They know people will put those things on it, but they can edit all they want and going over there to "protest participate" still drive traffic to their site. In 6 months when they tell investors how successful the last place event wad, no one is going to want to see the final picture, they're just going to look at the numbers.

Oh I don't think she's a skrull, I just think she'd ally with him, especially if he knows everything rhodey does. I would like to see the skrull fly off in the iron patriot armor, forcing him back into the black and white War Machine. I'm hoping armor wars is war machine cleaning up the mess skrull rhodey and the powerbroker made selling off all of Tony's shit. I don't really think they'll have enough time in a movie to get into them with much depth but it'd be cool to get a handful of cameos of low tier, stark tech villains from the comics.

I'm still expecting the powerbroker to be the main villain in armor wars, but I think Rhodes was her contact in falcon and bucky's show
