I think that the femcel meme group here on Lemmy seem much happier to just post about being horny and I think pretty clearly don't subscribe to this ideology at all.

Molly Conger a.k.a. Socialistdogmom once did a deep dive on a report their city police made to show "deaths in the line of duty" and at least one was someone who died on vacation of a long term medical issue. Another ridiculously common one was classifying cops who died in car accidents they caused while not even pursuing anyone as in the line of duty.

My hot take is that the dominion war was hot garbage. Just episode after episode of the least fun parts of trek for me. It has some stand out episodes, but it drags and I basically stop rewatches in the late seasons. I also think Sisko's ending sucks, he should have stayed with Jake. Lastly, the prophets were way better before they introduced Pah-Wraiths and made them way more mystical.

As a software developer and sometimes home electrician, I am so glad that house wiring doesn't support git blame, but it would be nice to know who not to hire because the work in my house when I purchased it was appalling

The gender gap in voting narrowed slightly this year, so I feel like this isn't supported by the available evidence. If you could chalk this up to just misogyny you would expect that gap to have widened rather than narrowed
