  • France has been attempting the exact same thing recently.

  • Wow, lucky you! That's pretty funny.

  • My guy, I used work for a large manufacturer up until recently. The problem is very real and we got complaints every other day. Just because there's no recall doesn't mean there is no problem. The Tesla thing is obviously different because they rejected the self driving application on these grounds, which only one manufacturer even offers in Germany.

  • No, I'm saying Tesla's system sucks, but other manufacturers also should also get their shit together because it's a general problem.

  • Get organized. Join local groups. Print flyers. Protest. It's how people have been doing it for hundreds of years.

  • Crank the organized protests up to 11 and be prepared to fight once the next election is cancelled.

  • That's obviously not what I mean. I meant the act of bombing will not change anyone's political orientation. Total destruction and occupation might. But that's not what this thread is about.

  • Bombing them didn't really change the opinions of the Germans though. It just reinforced their stance on the "total war" and they kept going until they were obliterated. I guess a point could be made about Japan though.

  • Bombing has historically not been the best way to change a country's stance on anything really.

  • Fix your fucking country, Americans. I'm legit getting a nervous eye twitch from reading the news these days.

  • I've had two pretty bad events with a Ford and a Mercedes. The Ford hit the brakes at 160 km/h on the wide open Autobahn for absolutely no reason. The Mercedes did it on a more rural road and caused the person behind me to honk their horn. I figure that one might've been caused by the bushes growing close to the road but it still wasn't very pleasant.

  • Not defending Tesla, but phantom braking is an issue on a lot of new cars, even without autopilot. It's the Advanced Emergency Braking System (AEBS) that is now required in the EU. I don't think any manufacturer has figured out a way to make it 100% reliable yet.

  • It's not really fair to criticize privatization of state assets when the country is under attack and running on fumes. It's unfortunately a necessity to keep going. I seriously doubt it would've happened in peace time.

  • It gets too easy too fast IMO. I haven't done much of the main quest yet but I'm already a invincible human tank and killing armored enemies with single hits. I might swap my sword with a lower tier weapon to get a bit of the challenge back.

  • It's definitely much more polished than the first installment. I've played for around 40 hours and can probably count the bugs I've encountered so far on one hand.

  • I'd really like to know how they managed to do that.

  • This goes both ways though. Maybe it's time for the EU to interfere in the elections on behalf of democratic parties?

  • I'm absolutely blaming the third that did not vote. When you're in a car that is barreling towards a cliff, the only acceptable choice is to hit the brakes. Not doing anything is just as bad as pressing the gas pedal.

  • I posted it all over X, why isn't it working?!
