One of the nice things about Lemmy is that you actually get replies under your posts/comments and it's not just repeating phrases to earn as much karma as possible. There's always a sweet spot of engagement in online communities and I feel like we're pretty close to where it begins. Other sites just make you feel like you're shouting into the void.
That's not the place that Navalny's team published the photos of. This one was more like a dacha. His Palace is even closer to Ukraine, but way too expensive to be demolished like that. He has been there only a few times since it was built.

There is a difference between conservatism and being a threat to the democratic order. Germany has conservative parties that are perfectly valid, it's just that the AfD is not one of them.
They are heavily biased towards China and Russia, two countries with fascist governments. That kinda speaks for itself, even if they claim to be communists or socialists.
Your files are not lost. You will be able to access them with your local root user, either through the command line or a GUI file explorer that supports actions as root.
Threads doesn't really have a track record when it comes to things like this, so I don't blame them for enforcing their terms and conditions. The difference here is that Twitter has allowed such things to be posted time and time again but won't allow it in this specific case. It's selective enforcement.
