I actually had the consumer ones. both the original and an updated one. Both on clearances (and pretty cheap). Played with my friends but it was not the same as playing together against another group of friends or random people that got grouped together.

mmm. comment about real estate prices in florida or on how presidential markers will be the new forecast. so many options.

I was playing shadowrun genesis again awhile back. It actually used the pen and paper rules from the time and was pretty neat considering. its like how the text based rogue likes are still fun. does have a few annoying bugs though.

I had that and it was the best time of my life. Three miles to work so 45 mins to walk, 15 to bike, and bus could be in the single digits if I was lucky. I was renting from these sisters who owned a four flat and they asked If I want to use half the garden. Then get this. They had a guy till it each spring and put weed blocker cloth over the whole thing. Then they would ask when they went somewhere if I would water it. Oh my the hardship /s. It was so awesome. Unfortunately lost my job at the time and my wife and I had to move in with my brother (we have our own place again. for now anyway.)

Im really intrigued by this but I hate that I can't find the license. Im especially annoyed that I can't even find it on distro watch. Whats the point of an open source website if license is not one of the things about the distro it lists. I wish this was more of a european project and bigger bonus if it was nordic or french.

I have to because we are outside of it now but when we could live there I could do anything without driving. We are just close enough that I can get to most places without driving but it takes much more work planning it out and is more of a pain overall.

star trek online and champions online. they were pretty reasonable for free to play mmo's and the costuming was amazing.

I think it was the cost. We would go do it but it was a bit pricier than seeing a movie or bowling or hanging at an arcade. Was great though. Super fun and great exercise. Our photon had coin operated guns above the arena so you could not just try and sit and snipe. I remember this guy who was so rediculously good at the game he beat my friends and I and his team was a bunch of kids.

I have been pretty lucky with really great neighbors so my trend has been the opposite as I age. Like when I was in college I was sorta like. I could really live here if there was only jobs out here. Now its like man, I really like not needing to drive.

Oh yeah and I do think it was very intentional as the document does use the term citizen and other terms more specifically. Its part of the reason I think citizens united is an unconstitutional ruling as its giving rights reserved for people.

Im not saying throw it out. Im saying if you don't have education, healthcare, etc that its basically a side issue at that point because everything is so bad. We are waaaayyyy behind. Its like working on airbags when you don't have seatbelts.

Im lazy so something has to strike me as particularly good or bad to upvote or downvote. On the bad side im usually looking at the users past comments at that point to see if I should block them. I think in kbin I could subscribe to people and a good one might make me do that figuring it means feeds they were active in would get bumped up. I don't see that option in piefed though.

I agree. Same with gun control. Im for it but I want emphasis on healthcare, education, regulation, fair progressive taxation, government services as part of a modern, functioning society. We lose these things and good luck on the rest. Moreso with foreign affairs.
