  • There's a bunch of different autonomous groups, with no one "founder." This has always been the single talking point that the fox news crowd loves to parrot to sound like a "gotcha" when they want to be racist but are too cowardly to show who they really are. If that's not obvious by now, then idk what to tell you, except that arguing against human rights and for police brutality is not going to endear you to people.

  • so we can ban crosses

When there's comments here bringing up the first amendment and apparently forgetting that it includes that whole thing about not having a national religion, which is exactly what's happened/continuing to happen with christianity. It's just a little bit different than "black lives matter," which is just..a fact?

  • I thought the people bringing the charges are the ones against all the regulations and background checks on firearms to begin with. So all of a sudden they're just changing their minds, as a party, on an issue that's one of the foundations of their entire platform. Yeah, no one is going to see right through that giant pile of hypocritical bullshit.

  • It's like r/history and r/science. Every single comment thread was completely empty with nothing but [removed] over and over. Why the fuck even have a sub at that point? And then anytime anyone mentioned how ridiculous it was, in other subs even, they'd get piled on by people defending it somehow. It's like being in the fucking twilight zone.

  • what is he expected to do

Well maybe he should have thought of that first, before running his mouth like the wheezing piece of sweaty shit he is and victimizing innocent people in the process who were already suffering.

You know, I will literally never ever understand standing up for someone like this. I have an elderly far right trumper family member who barely survives on fucking social security who tries to defend Bezos and Musk this way. "Oh BuT iTs NoT lIqUiD." Who gives a shit?! Fuck all of them.

If he managed to spend that much in a month on himself and his wife, he can manage to spend that much on his victims. Who gives a flying fuck where it comes from? Why the fuck would you? Is it his victims' fault he has to declare bankruptcy and rely on lines of credit (supposedly)? Of course not. So he can take out more and more and more lines of credit to pay them. It's not that hard.

This is a collection of salvaged original Geocities sites. There must be hundreds and hundreds of random people's homepages from the mid 90s to early 2000s. Some of them still have working links. The "Hollywood" section is the best because it has endless fan pages of 90s media and celebrities.

  • Another person who we consider to be some kind of genius, but who we'd throw in the psych ward if they appeared in downtown LA right now. People love people who subvert social norms, just as long as they stay in stories, movies, and history and don't actually come near them.

  • And then they charge you hundreds to thousands of dollars for those classes so that once you do find a job, they just garnish your wages.

They charge you for drug tests and "renting" ankle monitors, and if you don't pay they just throw you back in jail. Which sometimes has its own fees. Even public defenders can have fees depending on your state/county, and they will threaten to take you to small claims court over the $50 they billed you without telling you. For counsel that literally exists to represent poor people. Ask me how I know.

  • FreeTaxUSA also tried to charge me for state after saying it was free though.

I guess I could have printed out the forms I had just filled out and mailed them, but that's not exactly what was advertised. It's "free tax filing" not "free forms." I paid it because it was cheap, but then they kept kicking both my federal and state back to me with error messages saying they were not "accepted" by the IRS.

Cash app had no issues with the exact same information being "accepted." It just worked. And it was actually free.

  • This is what irritates me when people don't get it. Constantly seeing shit about Feinstein like "CaLiFoRniAnS VoTeD foR hER!" But when it comes to national elections, all of a sudden everyone is capable of seeing how imbalanced those are, because if they didn't they would have to hold themselves responsible for 2016 by their own logic.

  • Also Ross. They're a gross company that treats their workers like shit. When you start working there they give you pamphlets on how to sign up for social services like food stamps. They also have one of those employee funds, where everyone pays into it every month and if someone has an emergency they can use money from it. Maybe if they paid their employees a livable wage they wouldn't need makeshift insurance funded by their impoverished workers. So fucked up.
