So, you think the New York Times secretly wants the Republicans to win, and none of the dozen or so experienced journalists who comprise their editorial board has said anything about it.

You can’t possibly think that Democrat mainstays like The New York Times, The New Yorker, and The Atlantic are all being manipulated by GOP operatives.

Plan your revolution.

Oh, I’m not planning a revolution. I abhor the idea of revolution. Revolutions are messy, and many innocent people get killed because nobody’s sure who to trust. (And because the victors write history, we never hear enough about the innocent victims of revolutions.)

Also, I would be no good in a violent revolution. I am old and fat. I do not know how to shoot a gun. I feel faint at the sight of blood.

As I said, I am hoping for a peaceful resolution for this country’s problems, which is why I am encouraging people to vote for non-establishment candidates and praying for divine intervention.

But I’m not blind. This country is headed for violent revolution if its politics don’t change. This gestures at everything cannot continue.

Thoughts and prayers is not a plan.

Well, it’s either divine intervention, Americans suddenly waking up en masse, or the entire American political establishment being deposed in a violent revolution.

Those are the options. You choose.

How do you plan to win the hearts and minds of 200 million American voters?

I’m hoping that one day they’ll realize there’s a genocide happening.

And I’ll be praying that they do.

I saw the memo. Their proposed plan doesn’t make sense to me.

If Biden resigned as president, Harris would become president, would certainly cinch the nomination as the incumbent, and would enter the election with all the benefits of incumbency.

But they want Biden to stay as president until the end of his current term, and they expect the party to rally around Harris as the nominee. I’m not sure the party would rally around Harris. And why have her enter the election as a non-incumbent?

Genocide will stop when people stop supporting genocide.

If your argument is that there’s too few of us to make a difference, that doesn’t matter. The handful of Germans who dissented from the Nazis probably didn’t make a difference either. It was still the right thing to do.

And I was an lgbtq kid back when it was literally illegal to be gay in my state. Again, not great, but it’s not the same as being bombed and starved.

You dare make appeals to compassion while turning a blind eye to genocide. It is absurd and obscene.

If the Democrats want my vote, they can stop supporting genocide. It’s that simple.

Maybe, like so many of us, she’s trying to do what she can and she doesn’t see any better option.

If the Democrats have a better option, they have two months to find it.

So far, every other Democrat says they're supporting Biden, and Biden said last week that immigrant women are being raped by their sisters (which I expect to be the clip played in Republican ads before the election).
