Now imagine Microsoft banning the translation of DirectX to Vulkan. Could they do that? That would kill gaming on Linux in a snap.

Pathetic. My single podman container has perfect uptime from when I start it manually with podman desktop to when I shut down my PC. I also allow only the highest security standard, it being not accessible outside of my network and all that. I am clearly a cyber security expert.

Hate how it replaced forums. Compared to forums it's the absolute worst. I will never not hate it. It's alright for basic voice chat with friends. Anything beyond that? Just shoot me in the knee instead pls

Discord is easy, I just it for voice chat with friends exclusively. The rest of discord is what you get when you explain forums to someone, bash them over the head 1000 times, then let them program a forum. I could not think of a single thing they could make even worse.

A bunch of them: Kate, Konsole, Dolphin, KCalc, Kdenlive, Okular, Gwenview, Ark, Spectacle, KDEconnect, Elisa and probably a couple more I missed.

Prime works well anywhere tho. I guess you are asking for a GUI to switch between them and/or disable it on a per software basis? For me games via Steam "just work", they use the Nvidia GPU by default and Lutris has a little switch to enable it. It's only getting more complicated if you want your Nvidia GPU to fully turn off when not in use.

Same. And then I wait a day or two to see if there are any major issues. I do the same for Nvidia updates. I mean I could also just roll back if anything happens, but why bother?

Don't IDEs just replace any tab with 4 spaces anyways? Pretty sure VSCode does
