Just create more ram out of thin air with zram. I've got 60gb now. 30 something actual ram (some of my 32gb gets allocated for the APU) and the same amount as zram.
I can run 2 chrome instances now!
I can only laugh at the comics they need to make to justify their distros. I use my Arch machine for work and it works far better than when I was using Debian. Also I am not putting up with an ancient kernel and Nvidia drivers. I even have to setup pipewire manually on debian and on Fedora it's codecs. Both ridiculous.
Nah, apt is great. I use Arch, but the package manager does not make a difference for me. I think I'd prefer apt for the user friendly terms to use it: apt search, apt install, apt remove, apt purge. Much nicer than the pacman equivalents I haven't even bother to learn.
