It should never be falling on for profit companies. That's how you end up with super corporations being in charge instead of governments and that is a disaster waiting to happen. All that was needed was to actually start seriously funding programs like NASA again.
Nobody held them at gunpoint making them buy it. All the evidence was there it was going to be trash, look hideous, and have terrible build quality. There comes a point the consumer is fully responsible for their decision. This is just another case of play stupid games win stupid prizes.
100% agree, too much is being focused on getting games as cutting edge graphic wise as possible without focusing on optimization, size, game play, or even if consumers can reasonably be expected to have the hardware necessary for it. I worry the gaming industry will hit a point where the leeches at the top determine the industry is dead because they've ruined it so badly in the never ending pursuit of unrealistic profit. Like no shit not as many people want to buy games riddled with bugs, microtransactions and lacking any attempt at listening to what consumer want to play. I miss when developers were allowed to be creative and work on things they enjoy, because that definitely was represented in the games when playing them.
Honestly, I agree for the most part. I used to love story based games but over time I grew to care less and less about the stories because they were usually poorly done and just wanted meaningful game play. It's why I love games like factorio so damn much. I used to play WoW a ton, but it was more because I loved min maxing characters and running through content with my friends.
If that's what they want to take away than fuck them. Focus on the shit that has to do with loot boxes and micro transactions. If they want people to engage more irl the solution isn't to ruin the only outlet I and others have, it's to improve people's lives where they don't view escaping into games as a necessity to get away from depressing reality. Just my two cents.
The teslas have poor build quality for deluxe vehicle prices. Not too mention they break from standards everywhere they possibly can, not because what they do is better or even a good idea. They just do it to be the company equivalent of an edgy teen. Even ignoring the monstrosity that is the ugly ass truck they make, it's not designed to be a car, it's designed to be a gadget. The steering wheel alone proves it.
The irony of you showing up here to bitch about something you had no reason to even click and then insulting someone else's brain while they are literally demonstrating more thought than you is just hilarious.
That is the stupidest arguement I've seen in a while. " my grandad smoked 3 packs a day and never got cancer so cancer is just a hoax by big pharma!" Anecdotes aren't accepted as evidence for good reason.
Lol, wake up man, the free market hasn't been free for years now.
