When I like or dislike a game a lot and I'm able to articulate why, I usually write a long-winded 2-3 paragraph review on what I liked and didn't like about it. These reviews tend to get 1-2 reactions at most
One time, I decided to write a positive review for a game I really liked but didn't feel like saying "the shooting good" six different ways, so I wrote my one and only joke review
It then became my most popular review, with now 37 reactions
So yeah, I see why people do it and yes, I heavily agree with what steam's doing
Picked up elden ring on sale three weeks ago, and already have 90 hourd in it, and I'm on my second run. First was a strength build, and now a dex/arcane bleed build!
There was a sorcerer build in between those two, but it trivialised my favourite part of the game so I stopped it
This might just be me, but an exclamation point ruins this joke, and many similar ones
With no exclamation point, I read this as a very dry, very serious response, and the comedy comes from the absurdity of what's said with a straight face
When I see the exclamation mark, my brain goes "BOOMER BOOMER BOOMER"
These kinds of charts are usually used to compare things that, in this case, wouldn't be science, but humourously could be considered science if given a chance
But the other guy is right-if you don't follow the scientific method and don't try to describe your findings in ways that attempt to better understand the universe, then that's not science. That's bias
shifts eyes
Haha yeah...
