  • I suspect the UK was only a little behind America's trend towards using cars. But like the other guy says, walking is discouraged by US planning and one hundred year old car-maker propaganda and lack of transport, whereas England is smaller with older roads in many places that resist the American style city planning somewhat with malls, car parks and shit - they're protected.

Though recently some industrious developers have been on a spree of burning down historic buildings for profit...

  • I only recently stopped using it. And a lot of content on the internet, expecially ones for download use rar part files to split it up and host freely.

  • Seems unkind lol.

  • And that's their right, and not unexpected either.

  • It wasn't clear they were from the authoritarian regime of Hamburgerland.

  • I've heard some people worry that it can be used for weapons. idk.

  • assimilationists

I'm sure you'll find them in the anglosphere too. I've seen a few threads of twitter. Possibly just Germans though, since they tend to have good English.

  • I hear about lsrael wanting to conscript Orthodox youngsters into the army, and a birth rate issue.

  • The Holocaust began with bullets and conquest of the East. It wasn't all ovens.

  • They're probably just emojis on their end. Tis a bug.

  • Everyone is a little bit authoritarian. It's the intent and end result that gives it meaning. You don't see France being criticised these days do you despite their citizenry being vocal about their regime's mismanagement. We've even seemingly had a Western media blackout effectively on it for the past month (they've had riots/protests).

  • 90 percent of war crimes and abuses that I hear about tend to be idf related. Whenever I hear about settlers, it's normally about them stealing a house or occupying.

  • I don't think India should. But the Finish symbol iirc, was taken up around the same time (early 20th C.) as the Nazis did. It's not a traditional symbol in the sense of cultural heritage. It's just an interesting pattern that they and Hilter adopted. I think Europeans and others similarly inspired, should take it out. And even in Japanese contexts, as a fellow Axis power, despite their Buddhist heritage.

  • I think the (iirc) Finish airforce recently took down the swastika symbol from their flag.

  • Bigotry against less able people is not allowed on this instance either. I'd hope the admin and mods would deal with people like them similarly in such a case.

  • If you defederate you'd embolden actual fascist lunatics. And be careful equating the long and varied policies of the SU (who had various leaders over that time) with a short stint that Adolf had in eliminationism.

  • Is it appropriate to use the Python community there or is there one for noobs?
