  • How does public facing statements make trans people vulnerable? Legislation is the power of legislators.

Being quiet about an issue during the campaign makes little difference if they are supportive in office.

Being strategically quiet during a campaign is a good strategy, if only they were smart enough to use it on even more divisive issues, like the genocide.

  • google's android camera app is designed to open google's gallery app. Google built an OS that has support for user selected app launching. They built a system that lets an app request the user's preferred gallery app to view photos, but then chose to not use it to force anyone using google's camera to also use their photos app. fuck google

  • Women are you coming home now I know what to do so much better idea to the venue until you have to pay to maintain their own class is essential in any way to fail a fair use defense in the us

    Ummmmm soo... this....

  • Tim Cain worked on the original fallouts, fallout 1 and 2. He has not been credited in the series since. The fallout series has passed through the hands of many others, who may have included a critique of capitalism as a theme.

If you're interested in Tim Cain's ideas on capitalism, he was the director of the outer worlds, which is far more focused on capitalism much more directly than fallout ever was.

  • Many people self medicate with caffeine. It helps with focus and productivity, which is why coffee is incredibly popular. Its not just for the neurodivergent, it helps most people focus, making it a staple of workplaces worldwide.

I have only ever heard people with ADHD describe coffee as calming, but it helps with focus. The problem for those with ADHD is that the mind is too active, so being more calm helps focus.

If coffee helps you do the things you want or need to do, you should use it. Avoid excess, proper dosage is essential for any drug even ones as benign as caffeine.

  • Get an old color laser printer, that is not aimed at the home market. Get whatever boring printer box your local library has. Toner stores very well, and it takes almost a decade for a normal person to print an office sized amount of toner.

To do that you will need a separate scanner. Most desktop printer/scanners are aimed at home users where they do much more of the, "cannot scan low magenta."

  • But rich and powerful people have the budget to afford social media managers to curate a beneficial public image for themselves. The smart ones know not to make public statements for themselves.

  • I don't like most western RPGs because all the enemies are sponges. You can't sell weapon upgrades if the weapons are already balanced.

Western RPGs often have interesting systems like speech and other noncombat abilities. This is what keeps me coming back to RPGs despite everything. But upgrades are done with the same currency, so investing in speech means underinvestment in the manditory combat making it even more unpleasant.

I would much rather play a game about combat, movement, or speech than a game that awkwardly tries to make all three sit comfortabky next to each other. JRPGs are often more focused, so I do prefer them, a bit.
