  • Reddit has the money to fight a legal battle. Volunteers running a site off donations do not. They don't want to take risks and that's understandable

  • gotdamn

    Jump
  • A 4% tax on millionaires in Massachussets got free lunch for school kids in the state

  • Nah, they won’t. Then devs will start supporting Linux and windows will lose their one advantage over Linux: compatibility

  • Such a stupid response

  • Minors can have cash app accounts legally as long as you have an adult’s account approve it

  • They need to add account and community migration as soon as possible

  • i would love to pay for it but i pirate because i dont have money to pay for stuff

  • the issue is you're still using uTorrent, switch to qBitTorrent

  • i know this isnt super helpful but i used a tool on my steam deck that could both download and decrypt wii u games through a gui, i dont remember the name though. it took a while for me to find while i was looking for alternatives while trying to get other tools to work

  • What’s even more annoying is they’re capable of recommending interesting long videos, they purposefully recommend shorter videos on mobile (like less than a minute), on pc they recommend more long videos and the TV app seems to have the most long videos

  • automatic for me. as long as u have 2 pc's with steam open on the same network, it'll do a local transfer

  • Remember that episode where they trained a chat bot off a dead loved one? Then it evolved to a cloned voice, then a realistic robot body? Well we’re one step off from that

  • Still, Apollo was around for a while which means it’s had more time for polish, and it had a lot more users, which meant more support, motivation, and money for development, as well as more people to submit feature requests and bug reports.

  • It’s good but Apollo has a level of polish that won’t be replicated for a while. It looks like Apollo, but it doesn’t 100% feel like it. Apollo for Lemmy would still be better than all of our current options imo.

  • If you leave spez wins. The majority of users will stay there and they either don’t care about, don’t understand, or don’t know about spez’s decisions. I’m sure spez would be happy to see all the protesting users who make him look bad leave.

  • What is this stupid giant red square trying to cover it up

  • Maybe he secretly loves mastodon but doesn’t want to admit it so he keeps making terrible changes and somehow people keep eating it up and buying twitter blue. He’s probably just dumb though
