  • Because it's aimed at photographers who raised a huge stink in the first place (I was one of them).

You don't have to use it in the cloud too, all my camera photos are sitting in my drives, none of them have been uploaded to Adobe's servers.

PS and LR at this price is cheaper than the perpetual licenses if I upgraded every other cycle, so it's been cheaper for me. Of course there's still cheaper alternatives for PS now (Affinity Photo is really good), but since I still use LR a lot and the cost is bearable, I stay on it.

  • Workflow just wasn't as good, it didn't have a lot of the little features (search was definitely not as nice to use), and as a Nikon shooter back then, it never nailed the Nikon colours the way I wanted without very heavy post-processing, which was time I didn't want to spend.

  • both running always at full brightness too

What the heck, that sounds painful. Full brightness is only needed when outdoors in bright sunlight. I leave it to auto brightness and it's usually at 25% or less when indoors, regardless of screen or phone. Are you sure your eyes are ok to require full brightness on a phone all the time?

  • Yea, I'll never get it. See the YouTube comments after every new game trailer, full of idiots hyping themselves up for no reason.

I swear, it's like witnessing dogs go into a frenzy when the food is being prepared. At least dogs can be trained to stay put and eat on command.

  • There's that, yes, but downside for me is that Valve doesn't release hardware officially in my country and it always gets inflated by middlemen when it goes on sale here. So the value on offer goes down by quite a bit.

  • Thanks for explaining, I know public healthcare is always stretched but it's amazing you can just take a plane and use another country's healthcare and it's faster.

Do you have to pay different prices for Belgium or Germany or do you not have to since it's all EU?

  • Fuck me, what MRT ride takes more than 1.5 hours? I've done Tampines to Admiralty before and it was less than that.

You need to travel more, perhaps you'll appreciate our public transport some more. There's a reason why you're not getting support here. You're just sounding like an entitlted person who wants a luxury mode of transport in a small city state that's already pretty crowded with cars despite the stupid prices on them.
