I really hope Legal Eagle and his videos on the subject were the big change in turnout. However, if he had to promote the message in order to get the voters out, that doesn't seem great either.

The key card thing is stupid. Nintendo is (was), I think, the last developer who released full games on their media format. I will go so far as to import games to get a physical edition. If I'm going to buy a physical "thing", that "thing" better be there in its entirety. I'll be using the third party options that take and make physical releases even more than I was before.
