Have you ever been to a niche scientific community conference? It's always been 90% politics.
The Magellanic Cloud community collectively decided that they didn't want to study objects named after someone who had subjugated the ancestors of the communities studying it, so they agreed to call them the Milky Clouds. A pop science article went out about it and people complained that it wasn't science, it was politics. But unless you're a part of that community, you don't get to decide on the names of the objects that these people understand better than literally anyone else alive or dead. They're doing more science regarding these objects than anyone else has ever tried, they get to decide what's best, even if it appears political.
Yup, my experience exactly. Couldn't set timers or schedule meetings, and if it can't do that it's useless. So I switched back to assistant and never thought about it again.
I called them once in tears and said I was going to kill myself and I needed someone to stop me and they were like "do you have a gun?" "How do you plan on doing it?" "If you have a weapon I'm going to send police to your location" and I was like "what the fuck stop why would you do that." And they said "if you're planning on killing yourself I'll send police to intercept you, if you're not then Why are you wasting my time"
That was sort of so shocking that I ended up confused and didn't kill myself
That's only going to cause little people more problems as they get audited. The thought is nice but no way would the feds pass up the opportunity to ruin people's lives for this.
He also admitted he uses his power and authority to force his way into the dressing room of under age girls and watch them get undressed but none of the "protect our children" crowd gave af about that
This is actually the GBT, green bank telescope. Gbo would be the name for the whole sight.
Actually actually it would be the Robert C Byrd gbt, but he was a kkk member so that's not super cool. I ran some summer camps there in college and did a lot of research with its data.
If you like it I think it's definitely worth upgrading to a real trainer, even plastic. They'll just be weighed much better and you'll be able to do a lot more tricks
