For me I started using a service called Privacy a few years ago and haven't looked back so far. It's changed how I handle all online transactions. It let's you create virtual cards that are either good once or forever and once it's used by that merchant it's tied to them. So if someone ever did try to charge you that wasn't that exact merchant it gets blocked. You can set daily, and monthly limits as well and pause the card or close it whenever. So I would use this virtual card for the payment on epic and then this happens and all I do is close it out and open a new one. So far I did have 1 place that had my card charged from a place that wasn't them. The cool part is you know who almost screwed you because of the card thats being used. It was a local pizza place and I called to let them know they probably got hacked.
I feel like this would only work if all the other fast food places did the same thing... please, please don't do that! Seriously, if it's peak time like lunch, why would I ever pick Wendy's, which is now super expensive, or just get shitty food from the other place a block away for half the price?
Also, it's going to be even more insulting when they no longer offer the cheapest items they have today, which I will assume will never be this low again, even at low points of the day. I really hope this campaign is a huge failure and the people who pitched it are fired because I really don't want to see a future where this is possibly the standard one day.
I always thought 2025 was the expected release. It will be 1 year before whatever Sony offers next so they can gain a decent chunk of the market without any competition.
Which one is that? I still see 4 for $4.44 or 4 for $5 deals plus I think some that are $6 where i live (and i live in one of the most expensive places in the US). It's still one of the best deals for fast food, plus using the app gets you something else for free to add on normally. Like right now it's a free 6 piece on Wednesdays with any purchase. So a burger, fry, 10 nugs, and a drink for $5 is a good deal these days, even if it is terrible for you.
I just looked and I may give it a try. Looks good. It's worth mentioning it's in Alpha, some people don't enjoy trying to play games that early on and it explains why it's free.
I have had Emby forever. Love it for videos, but it's absolutely garbage for music. It's just not built to support music, so it's clunky and slow. I never used plex or jelly, but both built stand-alone music apps to address this exact problem, so I would assume they are both better. Emby was asked to build one, but they basically said no and also not anytime soon if they ever do decide to. They really didn't seem to get what was so bad with what they already offered.
+1 for Navidrome. I switched over to it over a year ago and it provides everything I had with subsonic before subsonic crashed hard one day and I decided to find a more up to date application. I pair it with the android app Symfonium and I feel like I am using a high end streaming service.
Nah, it finally came out that it was due to some work they were doing that caused it. I wonder who got fired for that blunder. Wouldn't want to be that guy...
Normally, the odd times are because someone can't work the weekend, which is crazy to me since I am someone who accepts all the worst go live times...
Although the more I think about it, would there really have been a fantastic day or time? Even weekends suck because it affects everything so even then it would have sucked plus if it did bring down companies those people are now doing work on the weekends as well. Idk if I disagree with a late time smack in the middle of the week date for this the more I think about it.
You shouldn't really have to. It's all done by the application unless you sit behind a firewall or your systems firewall is on and super secure. Normally I never have to do anything for the port ranges it has setup to communicate with other peers. Port forwarding would be if I want to access the application outside my network, but I have no need for that. Plus it sounds more of a risk than it's worth.
It is... oh boy. I have only been twice since my friend has a metal band that plays there sometimes. I never knew and I doubt he knows that as well since he is definitely not into that either.
Private only and check the awesome top 10 lists once a week for what's new. I actually went looking for a public torrent site last week and I couldn't find one.
Friend convinced me to try Helldivers 2 this past weekend. I had fun, but I also don't think it's as great as the hype it's getting either. Friend thinks it will be a long term playing game but I felt like I saw most of what it offered in 3 days of playing. Guess we'll see. I'm also trying out the FF7 rebirth demo. Wish I had more time to play stuff but this is all I have currently.
My guess is after the first year they lower it to 50 since there won't be that many people playing it. Fall guys did it after 3 years, it was sad to lose the 60 person levels which are now 40 if your lucky.
The headline doesn't really match the video. They do state some issues, but ultimately, within 45 min, they were in and the mother didn't seem very upset. They also like the idea of this method over having to make up days in summer. I really hate misleading headlines...
Also I do agree with not having to make up days in summer, but last I checked you get like 5 snow days a year. Considering our area only seems to use 1-2 a year for the past 5 years I'm not sure why they wouldn't just use the snow days first then transition to remote if needed.
My bad lol. It is really great though!
