  • They won't win. They can't get a corporate sponsored mod to control Lemmy as it's decentralized. Just keep calling these losers like OP out and eventually they'll pick up their toys and go back to their corporate controlled hellscapes like reddit and threads.

  • No that won't happen. This is a tactic by whatever group that is so butthurt about having left wing views on the internet to try to tone-control Lemmy. If they can get everyone to agree the slur tankie is bad, they can claim anyone that supports a left wing government that imposes a policy that restricts US freedom to exploit that country is a Tankie.

  • How do you see Lemmy working with duplicate communities on different instances? For example if Lemmy.World and Lemmy.ml have a PersonalFinance community, are people expected to cross-post? Or have you conceived of a system to allow people to find the right community efficiently?

  • IMO positive or negative change usually happens at a crisis point and it's important to have the solution available when the crisis is happening so people know what to do next. I think NJB is suggesting the USA is stable enough over the next several decades that there won't be a crisis that will allow better designed communities to be implemented.
