I have no clue what you're talking about. I've had Spotify premium for 5-ish years and nothing has randomly changed. The UI changed a bit here and there but nothing you couldn't ignore if you wanted to and that's it. I get all the music on the planet and podcasts, it's a good deal if you ask me
Spotify is losing money, they gain nothing by having free users, if they convert some people to paying customers it's worth it for them. You can't expect to listen to music for free when license holders charge ridiculous fees.
Sorry to burst your bubble, but no matter how bad they are for the planet, planes aren't going anywhere. People will not stop flying, passenger numbers are increasing year by year. Finding climate friendly fuels is the only hope to fix this problem, cause it's not realistically going anywhere
Lemmy users are just delusional in that regard. You can't just switch away from Google, its not the tech that makes in great, its the content. It's the same with messengers, if your friends arent there how useful is that foss messenger really?
Thankfully the only creator I regularly watch that does non-educational videos uploads them on their own website. For everything else nebula actually is an alternative, although I'm not subscribed to it at the moment
Yeah, you should diversify your skills as a dev because soon the market for Unity devs might become noticeably worse. As a company, if you can afford it it might be worthwhile investing some money into Godot
This is the classic tactic of doing something just to see if people will accept it. Even if they backtrack, they absolutely WILL do shit like this again. It's just like EA and micro transactions
More than enough for a top down strategy game. Why are you so obsessed with 60 fps in a game where nothing moves fast and reaction times dont matter
