  • Very unlikely unless they already had a shaky credit history.

    The article says different.

I also missed a payment once (thought I had auto pay on, I didn't) and as far as I remember it didn't change my score.

You have to miss two payments (of any kind, not just a credit card) within a 12-month period for it to affect your credit score.

  • At present, marshals fall under the remit of Pam Bondi, the US attorney general. Bondi was appointed by the president and is a Trump loyalist.

The article was pretty clear on why having the marshals/DoJ in charge would be a problem.

  • After officials reviewed dashboard camera footage of the traffic stop, they found the vehicle that actually made the improper turn was similar to the truck Arias Cristobal was driving, and on May 12, they dismissed traffic charges against her.

    All Cops Are (lying) Bastards.

  • Coun. Leanne Caron was one of several guest speakers at a rally and march held Saturday to combat the controversial Bill 5, which the Ontario government said would give it the ability to fast-track development projects by creating exemption zones.

The bill would repeal the Endangered Species Act. Critics say "environmental havoc" will follow, and democratic rights will be eroded.

“The last time Doug Ford tried this, the people of Ontario stopped him,” she told the roughly 200 people gathered at the covered bridge in York Road Park.

“Bill 5 and Bill 17 are the same thing, exactly the same thing. He’s trying to do it again.”

The people of Ontario have betrayed the rest of Canada by electing Drug Fraud yet again. If they choose to let him continue steamrolling over environmental rules and established First Nations rights, what happens is on them.

  • The Six Nations Iroquois Confederacy Council of the Grand River Territory and the Haudenosaunee Confederacy delivered a cease-and-desist order to Nestlé Waters Canada in 2019. The order demanded the multinational corporation stop taking 3.6 million litres of water per day from their lands which are covered by the Haldimand Proclamation and the 1701 Nafan Treaty.

Nestlé, and subsequently BlueTriton, ignored the order while the Ontario Ministry of Environment and Parks extended the permit until 2026 for the towns of Erin and Aberfoyle.

There goes Drug Fraud, stealing from First Nations people yet again.

  • The idea that going out to speak with voters in a rural area is somehow 'pandering' is narrow-minded at best.

“We but mirror the world. All the tendencies present in the outer world are to be found in the world of our body. If we could change ourselves, the tendencies in the world would also change. As a man changes his own nature, so does the attitude of the world change towards him. This is the divine mystery supreme. A wonderful thing it is and the source of our happiness. We need not wait to see what others do.” – Mahatma Gandhi
