  • Wait, what's Youtube History?

  • Sounds lovely! Tho I can't help feeling if this exact thing was posted as coming from England everyone would make fun of it.

  • "Jill of the Jungle" is an ancient DOS game, and honestly a bit sexploitative. But it does feature a female protag. And is old.

  • I could almost see this being done on purpose to highlight the necessity of taking their courses seriously. It'd be a bold move that hinges on the intelligence of people viewing the sign, though.

  • Except we don't call the bill a "check"… :P

  • "Mood Matrix - Get A Grip On Yourself" from the Ace Attorney series, with a bit snipped off the beginning so it gets right into it.

  • I don't remember anything more than I've already said, sorry. :/ But that part you mentioned is from the lord's prayer, and I know that's not it.

  • Nah that's not the part I'm talking about. 99% sure.

  • Isn't there a line in the bibble that basically amounts to "if you all agree on it, I'll go along with whatever" from god? Something like "if you hold it true on earth, I will hold it true in heaven"?

  • Okay, but will you swing the squeaky hammer in a downwards arc to hit the top of a presumably horizontal head and/or shaft, or will you swing horizontally in order to strike the tip like you're driving a thick, fleshy nail into the owner's crotch?

I'm leaning towards the latter, personally.

  • Outer WIlds is a first person mystery adventure game. Knowledge is the only progression, so you must go in blind or you'll really miss out on some of the experience. I love it, I hope you do too.

Also the DLC Echoes of the Eye is basically a sequel, and very very good too.

  • I work for an engineering company… in IT, but I still hear about engineer news as a result. If what's been said around the office is true, hydrogen makes more sense for electric trucks, even though it doesn't make sense for cars. Sadly I forget the reasoning. Something about energy density vs the size of the vehicle. I'd be interested to know how it compares to diesel.

And before you bring it up, the problem with generating hydrogen was definitely brought up, particularly how inefficient that part currently is and the fact the energy from it often comes from fossil fuels. I know new, more efficient techniques are being trialed, but beyond that we need to invest more in green energy.

  • Ah yeah, I also thought it was talking about that awful fucking thing I used to opt not to install alongside my geforce drivers.

  • If you can get Saints' Row 2 or 3 working you may like them.

I know you don't like management games but you might still enjoy Frostpunk as it's a bit more like an RTS since it's about build order when you really get down to it. It is apocalyptic but it's hopeful rather tgan depressing (for the most part) or "haha you can do anything cus no laws".

Man your list of nos really eliminates most of my repertoire… :P Have you considered XCOM, XCOM 2 or XCOM Chimera Squad?

Oh! Prey (2016) is a good immersive sim you might- oh it's set in a space station, nvm…

Ah! Okay, this is a space game, but since you liked Stanley Parable you might be okay with this… Outer Wilds. Don't look it up, you'll spoil it. Just get it and play it, seriously. Get it on steam and use a timer so you can refund it if you hate it, but you really really really need to give it a shot.

  • There's not one single Australian accent either. Broadly speaking, there's three of them.

  • You realise we have 3 accents down here right? "Cultured", standard and strine? You could go for one of the other subtypes. :)

  • Don't forget beige box that shakes the thing.

  • I am not gonna disagree with you, but I remember playing half-life on it with no problems. Of course, you couldn't play DOS games on it, if that's what you mean.

  • Guns don't kill people.

    Ammunition does.

    Dampen the ammo.
