I consider my anger as a result of passion. Neurotypical people don't usually get as passionate as me so they can't relate to the boundaries I made up in my head to protect the validity of my emotions I attach to the stuff I care about. If I keep in mind that we all have our different understandings of what reality is I can relate to other peoples issues better.
But honestly I like to shout at people how much they suck with deep passion if they clearly screw someone over who has no bad intentions. I don't consider this a negative character trait.
It's also fun to be in a group and authorian regimes usually have nice aesthetics. It can be very tempting when a group includes you and you think you'll have a purpose as a human being by joining.
Maybe we should found a fascist group just without the fascism and it's including for everyone where everyone dresses nice and we march together and some guy holds energetic speeches about random stuff like that one time his dog ate an entire birthday cake and there's a specific greeting we use.
The same thing fascism seemingly has to offer: easy solutions to complex problems.
I'm not saying (especially white) young men are treated unfair but as one myself it's easy to come to the conclusion as you do feel a rift between fulfilling conservative societal norms you grew up with and learned from your elders for which isn't really a space left anymore except of conservative circles so you do kinda feel like being privileged is a burden because you think you have to fulfill more expectations than other groups and I think there's a lack of addressing this in public discourse without simply demonizing young males for trying to find their identity in a way that also includes a healthy relationship with one's own masculinity. If you discuss this I feel like you're quickly drifting into incel and alpha bullshit territory because they're the only ones addressing those problems but of course they don't offer actual solutions because that's not really part of their business model.
True. While I don't think humanity doesn't have to avoid consuming animal products as a whole it would be great if alternative protein sources were cheaply available (and ideally subsidized) so that cheap meat products become unappealing.
Simultaneously we should have a higher standard of treatment for animals and beef in particular should be much less available because of its extensive influence on the climate.
Consider watching the original Gundam anime first. It's time consuming and not the greatest (although decent) anime and it can feel a little dated but I would've liked to watch NGE after I watched that. Knowing the author of NGE watched it in his youth gives you a really good idea of the intentions he had when he created NGE.
I'm a little disappointed that Hajime No Ippo wasn't mentioned. It's from the early 2000s, plays in the late 80s and it's about boxing. The writing and how fleshed out the characters are is unexpectedly good for that kind of setup and it's one of my absolute favorites.
Two great comical animes are golden boy and great teacher onizuka but they have a lot of cliche anime perverted jokes I can see putting off a lot of people especially when they're not deep into anime.
Then there's goblin slayer but you might want to look up the controversy about the first episode before you go blindly into it.
I watched it early on when I got into anime and I missed the point of it because of it as it's kind of playing off anime (especially Gundam) tropes you might want to get more familiar with to get the message.
He needs a couple promotions until he's on a similar level as His Excellency, President for Life, Field Marshal Al Hadji Doctor Idi Amin Dada, Victoria Cross, Distinguished Service Order, Military Cross, Lord of All the Beasts of the Earth and Fishes of the Seas and Conqueror of the British Empire in Africa in General and Uganda in Particular.
With its taste buds dummy.
