I am on android, and it isn't in my app store either.

Federation just means it's confusing to sign up. I don't care if I am a leech. I just want content and the ability to use my preferred app to get it.

I put in a good faith effort to switch to FF earlier this year. I really wanted to like it. I consider myself an expert user to so it wasn't just "I didn't know what I was doing." I recently switched back to Chrome. I hope FF gets better because I don't like recent Chrome news.

I tried FF earlier this year. It sucked. Everything just took extra clicks. The password manager was a pain and didn't interact with my phone apps properly.

I know the complaints against chrome. When it starts forcing me to watch ads I might try FF again.

He is going after churches next, right? Propaganda to youth and all.

But the web app spams my browser history with everything I ever touched on Lemmy. I absolutely don't want that. It is nice to have the app separate from my chrome history.

Meanwhile, at my government job, we are paying people to live in our government supplied houses because we need people on sight.

Just run your phone through a free private DNS server and never see an ad again. I use dns.adguard.com.

None of my free apps show any ads on my phone.

I'm not sure what you are trying to say. Are you talking about a segue or a segway? A leaver is much more useful than a Segway but they are both completely different things. Why are you comparing a machine to a leaver? Also, the Segway as a product wasn't nearly as popular as the inventor hoped. Are you saying people who think AI will flop like the Segway did are wrong or are you saying that the Segway is some super tool and AI is not?

No. It not the UI. It is the pick a "Feterated Instance" stuff before you even know what it is. No one knows those words. It should just work for new users. Instances and federation should be presented later.
