  • I'm in Japan, playing the Steam version. No censorship there.

  • 10.4 gig here. Holy shit.

  • Why is it necessary to enact such a law in a foreign country? Germany isn't even on the same continent.

  • Writing is way more than creating outlines or checking the plot for problems. It's more than even writing a first draft. In fact, it starts with the first round of edits, when characters awake and find their voices etc.

People who think writing with AI is just pushing buttons underestimate the complexity of the process, and using AI for things you'd usually use other writers' feedback or betas or developmental editors for is just an evolution of tools, the same way we don't scratch on stone tablets anymore today.

As soon as problems pop up, chaos ensues, and totalitarian regimes often have an easier time dealing with them. That's the main problem IMHO, humanity having the tendency to take the path of least resistance.

  • "human animals"... reminiscent of "Untermenschen".

  • It's very simple actually. Russia invaded a souvereign country. The end.

  • If they say it on their instance and you can see it on yours, they're not saying it "on their instance", unless we get an option to block whole instances.

  • We don't have the medical treatment yet. But we're getting close.

  • I guess you'd call this growing pains, and it's good this happens this early and is being done in such a manner. There's just no way to reason with corporate, you have to point a gun at its head to make it move.
