I don’t have numbers that would directly address that. However, there are lots of statistics on the number of mobile users vs desktop users when it comes to the traffic in general. This trend has been clearly visible for about 15 years now.
Not that many people use real computers any more. At work, you may need to use a computer, but you probably can’t change the browser. At home, you have the PCMR folks who use a computer and probably also care about browsers. Everyone else just uses a tablet or a phone for browsing the web.
Speaking of the web, most people interact with specific websites through an app and an API, so they don’t even launch the mobile browser until they have to visit a site that doesn’t have an app. The world has changed and browsers aren’t as relevant as they used to be.
From the perspective of chemical equilibriums, there is a clear difference.
In a normal V60, the solid bed is constantly fed with fresh water, while the permeate is also removed at roughly the same rate. This means, that it’s unlikely that the grinds would even come close to an equilibrium with the water phase. If you want to maintain maximum rate of extraction for all compounds, this is the way to do it. In the short term, it makes sense to do so, because that’s how you make delicious coffee. However the longer you keep irrigating, the less useful it gets.
Immersion brewing leads to a situation where different compounds will begin to approach an equilibrium. If that happens, the rate of extraction will slow down, which can be good or bad depending on the compound you’re talking about.
Fortunately though, sugars tend to extract rather quickly whereas compounds responsible for bitter notes require more time. The problem is, I don’t really know if any of them will come close to an equilibrium in immersion brewing.
In theory, there is a difference. Can people taste the difference? Probably some can. Can I? Don’t think so. If you’re really good at tasting, and you care about differences like this, then go for it.
I know that I enjoy my fruity specialty coffee, and it’s clearly different from the popular light roast available at my local supermarket. Is the difference really worth 5x price? Not every day, since the difference in taste and quality isn’t really that big for me.
Similarly, you have to assess can you even taste the difference. If you can, is it really worth it to you. The only way to know for sure, is to make a cup with each method, and compare them side by side.
It is absorbed by the mind of the listener, and stored for later use in the memory. As old memories fade away, you could also say that eventually it gets destroyed in the memory.

You can choose to browse all, local or subscribed. My guess is, you don’t spend much time checking the subscribed feed if you end up seeing stuff you don’t care about. It’s true that pretty much everything in the “all” menu is irrelevant stuff I don’t want to see, so I don’t really check that place very often.
If the vegans there can’t take a joke, they aren’t very chill. However, being intentionally offensive and rude shouldn’t be tolerated, even if it’s a chill place.
I see a lot of comments about a particular vegan community. Sounds like people here need something like c/chillVegans where you don’t get kicked out unless you’re a total menace.
Since it is very expensive, many farmers have resorted to unethical production methods. It’s nearly impossible for you to know how it was produced, so there’s a pretty good chance the coffee you can get your hands on came from a farm where the civets are not treated anywhere near as well as you would hope.
You can also do americano style with the AP. If I’m brewing to 3 people at once, I make the coffee very strong, and then dilute it with milk or water to make it just right.
