Federated systems all have a single point it failure, the server. If a server instance disappears a significant portion of your data does as well, especially if it wasn't federated. User accounts are a good example of this in Lemmy.
Just because a system is federated does not mean it's decentralized, whereas a decentralized system has no risk of loss of data if a single system goes down. Federation is not that.
Fucking barbarians that don't mind having shit smeared all over their ass cheeks apparently. I mean, seriously, who the fuck thinks standing up to wipe is the proper "technique?"
Or the fact that you have to pay for fucking water. It's a God damned human right but you have to pay the same for water as any other drink at restaurants in Europe. By the glass. And the glasses hold exactly one to two mouthfulls of water.
What value to society does that thief's life bring? Most likely they are just a drain on society, so why is it wrong to stop the drain? Humans aren't in danger of going extinct, they don't need special protection even when they are obviously problematic. There is a net gain to basically everyone by removing a single individual like that.
Ukraine is tiny. It's roughly the same size as Texas and has roughly the same population as California. Alaska is larger than Ukraine.
Its the functional equivalent of Russia trying to invade Texas and failing. It's a massive embarrassment for a former super power that likely can't ever be recovered from.
I'm going to guess you are European, as I've found most Europeans don't understand the size of countries outside of Europe.
