  • That’s accurate I think but the departure point here is where Apple was making noises about delivering ‘premium jewellery’ or some such spiel.

Rolex, Omega, etc. all support their products for life and beyond. I’m still able to get my dads Speedmaster from the 60s serviced, heck my daily driver Seiko Pepsi from the 80s still has parts available.

Apple can easily afford this level of support which makes it kind of iffy that they don’t.

  • For those unfamiliar with website/app analytics: a hugely successful, modern advanced analytics campaign (say AI or Machine Learning based) might move the needle on a a key KPI for a huge business like Twitter to the tune of say 3%-5%.

Over 11% would be huge numbers for a highly advanced, highly focused team to achieve in terms of measurable impact on a higher platform like that.

This moral imperative humping dolt achieved that number in negative effects to his company without even trying.

  • Dude they will never get it because they do not equate these actions with fear and cowardice. They see the man with the gun as the tough guy, not the paranoid weirdo that he is.

Even the sane Americans that back gun control, etc. share this bias. They have grown up round this shit, it’s ingrained.

  • I guess this is kind of an off colour narrative to partake in but I have wondered for a while, if Michelle Obama is perceived as overly masculine in appearance (and we are all aware of the awful commentary on that topic that I won’t repeat here) then how can we look past Marge over here who literally looks like a World Gym ad circa 1990?
