Use PS1="▌\t▐\n\w→" to display your local time each time you press enter. And make aliases of lengthy commands such as alias internettest="curl -s https://raw.githubusercontent.com/sivel/speedtest-cli/master/speedtest.py | python -" (You need to install python to run this.)
I might get some folk throwing rocks at me for saying this, but Gentoo. It's literally "the placebo distro". As in, "compile pretty much every command your distro has in exchange for a measly half a second faster boot times!".
Even if you'd say, "Oh, but it does make a difference when running it on my potato!"... just... buy something better already.
Not from the host machine, but from the official nginx image ( nginx:mainline-alpine3.18-slim ). And what it (basically) does is separate the essential commands/files inside a scratch image and gives every command a custom username tag.
Jokes aside, I don't fiddle with shortcuts unless its something that involves other command(s) instead of the one(s) I currently have on my /usr/local/bin directory.
