  • I do agree, but its also kind of an amazing thing. I know this meal was made by a corporation for profit, but there was still a farmer that made the contents and a chef somewhere along the line cooked it before it was packaged. You might be missing the personal interaction with them, but there were still a lot of humans involved in bringing that meal to your table.

  • I have an external SSD, but that's besides the point. The whole point of a console is that it's a standardised piece of hardware and you can expect games to run on it out of the box.

Why are people disputing the fact that the game barely ran on Xbox One on release? That was what most of the bad PR was about at the time...

  • I thought you were saying it's hard to fall of a bike at first, like you'd be a dumbass to even do that. Now I see you're saying it HURTS! I can get onboard with that as I still have a road rash scar on my hip from falling off at high speed on my daily commute 10 years ago.

To be fair, I was being a dumbass: going way too fast in the rain and not paying enough attention, so when I swerved out of the way of an oncoming bike, I hit the bike path kerb and went rolling down the sidewalk. You can't really last minute swerve on 2 wheels.

Double dumbass because I wasn't wearing a helmet and could have been so much worse, but at the time I was most upset about tearing the shoulder off my favourite jacket...

  • Sure, you can frame it as not working on outdated hardware. I even mentioned that Starfield didn't even release on that generation of consoles.

The problem is the Cyberpunk DID release on that generation of consoles. You buy a copy on console, you expect it at least to function. My anecdotal evidence: it was literally unplayable. O stopped playing and never went back.

Comparing that to PC is more akin bad faith. There's a huge range PC wise and while its unacceptable for a certain combo of hardware to be unable to run the game, expecting outdated hardware to run the game on PC is expected. Are you saying there were no such issues like this for Cyberpunk on PC at launch?
