  • Everyone vocal on "your side" seem to have really limited world view and generally just bad attitude. No one seems to be willing to even explain the logic behind why this is wrong or at least show some understanding of the problem.

Edit. And by "you" I don't mean pirates, do what you want, but the people complaining about an instance protecting themselves from possible legal trouble.

  • Hopefully they realize it's not healthy for Wikipedia in long term and make a course correction.

No idea how they work internally but probably some kind of mentoring program would be in order. There's no way someone relatively new will learn all their quirks that have been developed in the past decade and too many people on the internet expect you to know everything already to be worth a shit to them.

  • No, calling protective measures fascism/thought controlling/etc is in fact closer to thought controlling than that in itself. And besides you can easily bypass this ban, which wasn't done in secret but with a public announcement.

Just... grow up or come up with a real point.

  • How the children obtained guns remains a part of the ongoing investigation, according to the Sheriff’s office.

I bet it's one of the parents or a close relative that didn't properly store their gun.

When are they going to start throwing people in jail for this?

  • I'd just rather them have an actual point than just complaints .Like how in their understanding are the instance runners in the clear when it comes to copyright laws. Like an actual point. Or how are they going to help the instance if there were to be legal trouble.

  • How is it ridiculous because like you yourself said they are offering an opinion on the products? And that wasn't the only point they had, it was just one of many and valid criticism.

And it's dumb to call that sloppy editing when the narrative they were trying to build was that they're more trustworthy than other outlets providing same kind of reviews. And that doesn't seem to be the case.
