I wonder what would happen if everyone with a united healthcare policy started calling to ask questions about their policies. Questions about coverage, deductible, and costs. No threats, or anything that could be seen as one. Just occasional calls to check on coverage, maybe get pre-approval.

Of course if you ever get a denial, you should absolutely dispute it.

Imagine a 100 unit building. Most management companies stagger the leases to minimize time empty and maintenance hours (empty units need to be made ready for new tenants if 10 units become vacant in the same week, it will likely mean more time unoccupied).

Now, in Miami-Dade, the most populous and the least diverse country in Florida, 80 units suddenly become unoccupied and unpaid for. This would be financially devastating for the company. They will do what it takes to get tenants in leases and yes prices will drop.

Many of the apartments in the area are all under a handful of corporate companies. Conservatively they could lose 40% occupancy in a few months. Compound this in that there would also be a similar loss in the number of potential occupants. They would also likely lose most of their maintenance staff.

South Florida (Palm Beach, Broward, Miami-Dade) has a very large migrant population. Among this population you have Haitians, Cubans, and Venezuelans who have protected statuses that will likely end. These statuses also mean that the government will know exactly where to go to start the process of removal.

Start looking for tripped GFCI outlets.

If there is no power to the switch and the breaker didn't trip there is likely a switch with GFCI on the mix.

Another possibility could be a bad breaker (assuming you don't have actual fuses), check this by flipping the breaker off and back on. This could also help to identify other lights/outlets on the circuit. If there is a wiring problem, knowing what other devices are on the circuit could help you track the problem.

While not impossible, it is unlikely that a wire has been severed. It is possible that a wire came loose at another outlet or fixture in the circuit.

If there was a true short, the breaker would be tripped out fuse blown and it would continue to trip.

I vaped for quite a while. Got a bit addicted to the tinkering and the juice hunting. It can be a fun hobby which probably makes it a bad way to quit if you're anything like me.

I worked myself down on the nicotine levels until I was at zero.

Relapsed back to cigarettes after not having vaped for a few months due to stress.

Finally stopped cold turkey. Didn't go back to vaping just decided it was time.

Things that ultimately helped:

• Having a reason to quit that I could remind myself of daily as an affirmation.
• My partner was also quitting, I needed her to stop and needed to be there to support her efforts.

If I was going to do it again, I'd probably look into Fum or something similar. Probably add some nicotine gum at the start to ease the chemical addiction.

It could actually be a criminal one but the speculation is that the burden of proof is much higher and this was the DA getting it on the books before the election. Nothing prevents them from bringing criminal charges after putting the evidence before a grand jury.
