I can't imagine you've read much about McCarthyism because it didn't take long for it to be many things that aren't communism. Labour unions and homosexuality were just a couple things that could get you on their radar, and merely being brought before a committee could get you fired. House Un-American Activities Committee sounds more like their job description and not what they were trying to stamp out.

Jets are notoriously bad for guerilla warfare. They require long straight runways that are incredibly hard to hide or move, they require serious maintenance that is hard to do in the field (if you can even land them "in the field"), they require massive amounts of training to be used effectively. There's a reason Ukraine takes out more jets at bases than in the air - it's just easier.

Any successful military action by Canada against the United States isn't going to be conventional. Piles of drones (and other equipment) would give far more bang for the buck.

While I agree that this would trick many human drivers, I think the goal of a self-driving car is that it be better than human drivers. And there is existing tech that could help achieve that.

You are still showing your lack of understanding of statistics. It requires a large sample size, yes, and the larger it is the more accurate it will be, but the proportion of the total population doesn't have to be large at all. Margin of error and confidence are both controlled by the absolute sample size (assuming a random sampling). Here's a link that covers the basics. Most serious polls use a sample size of about 5000. Now, 1000 isn't terrible, but it isn't good, but not because it's such a tiny fraction of the population.

As for the methodology, which is also critical, I don't know what method for phone surveys is considered adequate, and it is well known that phone surveys are becoming less relevant even if they are more accurate than polls where the respondents are self-selected.

The only tangible thing I can remember him saying and not actually doing it is shooting someone on 5th Avenue. "Drain the swamp" is a quaint platitude, but what it actually means is different from person to person. But i can guarantee he wants an awesome military dictator parade, he wants to own Canada, Greenland, and Panama, and while he doesn't give a fuck about anyone but himself, he is far more willing to express and act on that with marginalized people.

You can in fact overdose on antidepressants. It isn't a common cause of death, but it happens.

Given the state of sales for Tesla, I think it's safe to say that's incorrect. No one else is buying that Tesla for it's intended purpose, and it's increasingly likely that the person he bought it from isn't buying another. This piece of art isn't supporting Tesla or driving their sales.
