video was so cringy, especially the voice explaining things that I couldn't watch beyond punch being explained twice followed by just the name of the the second ability being explained, dive punch.
If we get to the point of switch2 piracy or I get a chance to play it on someone else's dime I will, but this video is selling it worse than plain gameplay footage would have. You don't have to explain destructible voxel terrain like it was just invented for the first time while treating every digging direction like a unique thing, twice.
Do other repackers have the problem as far as you know? I'm contemplating swapping out the ones I have downloaded but not played. I don't want to use the cursed method of install on windows and transfer if it can't run in the future.
I've ended up with a different one before. only worked with the included motherboard but the guy I gave it to claims to have gotten it running with a modded bios in an overclocker board.
I'm a bit older than the minimum age to be a millenial and have defragmented many drives. when I was like 6 but I still remember watching that stupid coloured blocks diagram for hours for some 20mb or something
if it's like psp and has separate library from the home consoles I think we are past that era. I'd like to see more steam deck like handhelds but with some other innovative kb/m input if not track pads. If sony were to make one the vendor lock in would take away from the appeal greatly though and modern console devs can barely target one graphics level.
its been a while so I'm not 100% on this but I think switching to tkg instead of wine-ge worked for me. It might have been a different fork though. I was also using bottles but I'm pretty sure that with defaults had the same problem. The last one I did was god of war ragnarok.
after using the steam deck theres literally no way I could go without the trackpads. unless someone comes up with a more natural and faster typing controller mountable kb/m replacement since the trackpads do leave something to be desired there and I still go for the real kb/m if I'm modding a game or doing a lot of work in the terminal. That said the trackpads have been my favourite so far and I really want the steam controller 2 to happen sooner than later.
subnautica still scares the shit out of me. I went back to get the last couple achievements in the original and below zero but something about the original is just more scary.
that anyone would even have the thought of "killer steam deck game" amazes me. It's just a pc. You can run literally every game in existence that doesn't require a top of the line nvidia card as a minimum, have rootkit anti cheat, or is still exclusive to yet un-emulated console.
one of my friends would always say "no homo but blablablah..... ok maybe a decent amount homo" and I swear everyone started saying similar stuff
