Honestly the onboarding for a lot of alternatives to various to popular platforms/apps (Matrix, Mastodon, etc) seems to be the biggest impediment to more adoption of those platforms and apps.
By onboarding here I mean the communities that use those platforms recruiting others to join them and help build communities up.
Like goddamn if that users comment was the first time I'd heard of Matrix it would have turned me away for sure.
Not to mention Mastodon having a reputation that proceeds it.
On a related tangent, I think my least favorite thing about my instance is that I only see the upvotes for that terrible comment. Which it has entirely too many of.
Honestly the amount of terrible comments and posts like that I see makes me want to switch to an instance with downvotes so that I can see that such shot isn't popular.
Definitely not the kind of shit that should be welcome in this community
Also (after looking it up) I'm pretty sure that "goy" is a term used by jewish people to refer to non-jewish people. So in this case I think they're saying that it is "non-jewish trash" by referring to it as "goyslop".
I could be wrong though, they're pretty incoherent and it's definitely not the kind of comment reply I wanted to see when I woke up from my nap.
I wish you the best of luck, it took me years to get the right diagnosis and then about 7 months to get the appointment with a doc to prescribe me some meds.
It literally felt like I was try to fill a bucket with sand and the only shovel I had was a sieve.
I'd literally have to wake up 5-6 hours before I had to be anywhere just to make sure I could finish my breakfast and coffee before leaving. And then I'd still more often than not finish eating or drinking my coffee in the car on the way.
I feel you on the "Having to stop a med because of the side effects," before I was diagnosed with ADHD I was diagnosed with anxiety and I tried about a dozen different meds for it ovwr the years before calling that off and just going unmedicated. Funnily enough after my ADHD diagnosis and getting on the meds I am now (Straterra) I've only had 1 panic attack in the last year vs one a week or so. And I'm able to start and finish tasks. It's fucking witchcraft.
It's commonly prescribed for ADHD, my doctor wanted to try non-stimulant based meds first because of my extensive history of substance abuse and also because of my diagnosis with anxiety and PTSD.
For me Straterra lasts about 10-12 hours which is just about perfect. Unfortunately though for me the longer I take it the shorter that time slot becomes until I up the dosage again.
I've been taking it for about 18 months and it's down to just about 8 hours for me now and for those 8 it's still okay on effectiveness though I feel it could be a bit higher.
Basically when I up my dosage it works great for awhile then kinda starts winding down a bit.
Not to mention brother printers seem to work flawlessly with Linux as well (though I've only used Ubuntu based distros, I didn't have to do anything to get them to work)
The 0.2mm nozzle has less material flowing through it than the 0.4mm
You can only force so much material through it before your nozzle before the extruder starts skipping
Think of a garden hose, the 0.4 mm nozzle is the hose flow unobstructed. When you put the finer nozzle on the hotend it's like putting your finger over the end, the pressure behind the nozzle goes up.
Try printing at the same speed as the 0.4mm nozzle (this is what I do) and make sure that your slicer is properly configured for your new nozzle and it should adjust the flow so that it doesn't chew the filament to bits in the extruder.
Also 0.2mm nozzles will clog a lot easier than a 0.4mm nozzle due to the smaller opening so you need to be pickier about filament.
You say you think you're having heatcreep issues, what exactly are the issues you're having?
