  • At least the Aptos default typeset they use is better than Calibri. I hate Calibri but I can't quite articulate why. Maybe because it's the default and I'll hate Aptos eventually too.

  • Situationally, yes. "I want the next digit of pi" is information in that sense of the word. It's not a particularly useful piece of information unless you're building something that requires a circle with a circumferential precision larger than the width of our entire universe.

  • I have sadly had the unfortunate occurrence of two separate companies I've worked for just completely cancel the holiday bonus. I thought it was a fluke the first time but it is a trend when private equity buys the company you work for.

I don't work at those places anymore. They can suck a yule log.

At least the pronunciation isn't too bad coming from English as all the usual sounds are represented within our phonology. Compared to Spanish rolling R's, Russian and Arabic consonant clusters, Chinese tonality, and other difficult to pronounce languages.

  • I guess then America shouldn't have gotten involved on the European front during WW2. Not our problem, Hitler can run wild, America was only directly attacked by the Japanese so the Pacific front is the only one that matters.

If the collective West doesn't stop Putin, what's to say he can't follow in Hitler's footsteps? He's already shown that he is not above invading sovereign countries.
