  • Completely agree palps should've been left in the reactor of the 2nd death star. For all the world universe building, we see precious little of it outside of the legends novels. I was interested and excited during TFA, but the macguffin chase and nostalgia dump made it feel less of a movie and more like filler setting the stage. What came after was what really disappointed.

  • Lol, spoken like someone that specifically hates a certain couple. You compared it to a baby shower, but it's a distinctly separate deal. Where a shower is for the parents, they get gifts and such to prepare them for a new child. A gender reveal party is more like a wedding, it's a party for your friends and loved ones, more the soon-to-be grandparents. In the past where medical tech couldn't accurately guess the sex of an unborn child, sure, people would get pink and blue stuff, but when that changed, finding out became a bit of a milestone in the process. Some people keep it low-key and just tell people who ask, others want to make a cute event of it. Your post says far more about you than the people you call "soulless degenerates".

  • Right, I felt it was a waste of fantastic stories to give us a poorly planned one that they've been trying to slowly retcon ever since. That's why we've been getting all the mandoverse stuff and why Thrawn is back in the spotlight. They just initially shied away from recasting the OT characters so they could bring that star power to the projects. Sadly even with the star power and nostalgia the story didn't hit a home run. So now we're getting a reworked version of the Thrawn trilogy which is what should have been the case from the beginning, and hopefully this version can retcon some events to make the ST feel less jarring.

  • Looks like most are saying to try to fix. But that's not always workable, look up "pelican chameleon PS2 wireless" I only have one, but I don't see why it wouldn't work if you had 2, have the receiver on channel one, and switch whichever controller you want active to that channel. Not sure why you'd want both controller slots plugged in, but you could plug the 2nd receiver in and put on a different channel in case you wanted to play something 2 player. Other benefits, this is hands down the most comfortable controller I've ever held. If I still played anything on PS2 I'd buy a couple extra just in case.
