All your talk makes it sound like you think they are making a "wrong" decision. Is that true, and if so, what would you do if you ran that country being annexed and bombed?
Ok, and to clarify, do you mean disgusting as in the opposite of attractive, or that you feel an internal wrongness when looking? I'm guessing it's something way beyond either, otherwise it wouldn't make sense to find others "insane" for liking the performance.
It sounds like you feel very strongly about this. Instead of shouting online in a way that accomplishes nothing (which, again, you feel very strongly about) why not volunteer your time to reach out to the group you think should be focused on? You'll help what you think is important and maybe get some coaching on how to effectively persuade people.
To be fair, it was about the bigots too. I had to look up the song after a certain group blew up about it. It's a lovely song about inclusivity and what it might take for us to stop fighting eachother.
Legitimately curious here, what did you find disgusting? The message of the song, the callback to classical art and religion, performers in costume, or something else?
I would try before I buy, and haven't had a chance to try yet.
