Recommendations for FOSS shopping list/checklist apps?
Check out Joplin. It is pretty powerful, but can also just be used for simple checklists.
e-reader or tablet for reading academic paper
Look into SuperNote or OnyxBoox devices, they work quite good even if there is a learning curve.
